Now that the Kouta has provided a vacancy on the senior list with his immediate retirement who should be elevated Jacobs or Jamison? Jacobs the 200cm and 100kg ruckman thereby allowing Setanta to play in defense or Jacobs the 193cm defender who would allow Waite to play up forward.

By the way a very big thanks to Kouta for making his retirement immediate and free-ing up his spot on the list to allow the club to be able to elevate one of the rookies.

His retirement won't enable us to promote a rookie, but his injury might if it enables us to put him on the LTI list. Let's wait and see.

Jacobs probably isn't ready but it would be good to throw him in the deep end and see how he goes... Drop Ackland... Please.

Hack...and yeh agree about Jacobs.

Although Jamo has been killing it in the VFL and we really do need a quality FB.

Massive hack and a nong... True about Jamo. It would be good if we could promote them both. And Grigg. Bring back Grigg.

Jacobs isn't ready. Jamo for sure

I bet the club is spewing they elevated Flint with the benefit of hindsight. Hasn't come back anywhere near his form last year follwoing a serious leg/ankle injury.

Jamo is still undersized though but shows good defensive qualities

I thought Jamison is 193cm, which puts him taller than Thornton! :?

:? Anyway, we know you meant Jamison, the 193 cm defender. And yes, Jamo, because Jacobs still needs more time in the VFL.

Yep, TC's own squarehead confirmed today at training that Jamison was applauded out on the ground by the entire playing group because of the promotion.

Good on ya, Jamo :-)

Wonder if he'll be selected this week for a job on Cloke, or less likely Rocca?

Fair enough promotion...been consistent in the Bullants and deserves a go.
Plenty of room for a tall defender who plays close in our backline and I presume he will play vs Collingwood.....Rocca and Travis Cloke wont be easy first up opponents if he gets either. Good luck to him and I guess Gavin Crosisca deserves some credit for getting him to the club...

I would have thought it would be the other way around these days.

I know Anthony is more dangerous as a goal scoring threat if he gets his hands on the ball, but he's also the more manageable of late.
