Not sure how closely this article reflects what he had to say on radio, but I suspect it will be around the mark:

He was on 3aw pre game.

He ruled categorically Neale Daniher out, and without talking about Sheedy that would cancel him out as well.

Acknowledged as did Voss that both parties had had initial discussions.

Stated that although 45 plus wasn't old, that the club was taking a different path in terms of coaches. IE Ratten, Voss, McKenna etc.

On the priority pick.

Answered as well as could be expected when you are going to be drilled on it.

Would have liked to have played more young kids over the last couple of weeks, but due to injury their bodies are not up to it yet but expect at least three if not more to be played over the next few weeks.

Did state "although there maybe better players in the bullants, we we had decided that if it was between a young kid and experienced player the kid was to be taken" (paraphrased but that was the message).

This is a winning business and we must be planning for next season now.

What else would could he say, that is the honest truth, if the guys win so be it, if they lose and we get the priority pick so be it.

Yesterdays game was probably a perfect example, the guys got plenty out of it as did we all , but just fell short.

After Collingwood's effort last night, our effort against Brisbane probably isn't so bad, plus we are a real chance next week.

He was asked about looking at Sheedy for a potential role in the Carlton football department and straight out he said 'No'.

As for Danniher, he said the club was looking for someone a bit younger (Danniher is 45 I believe).

Voss- Said that he was sure that Voss would coach somewhere next season.
