I'm with you Blue Vein. I think the tone of the article was flatter than the pancake I just ate

This intrigued me though (my emphasis added)

Setanta O’hAilpin may play on him[Gehrig] but obviously we have plenty of other options like Bret Thornton.

Umm didn't we just have 117 kicked on us :?: I'm not so sure we have plenty of defence options IMHO

Strange to see he acknowledged Gehrig's 250th and but completely ignored Lappo's 250th considering we are trying to build the spirit of the group.

Libba rang SEN one night on Beva's show and put his son on the line. You could hear Libba telling his son to say "Go Bulldogs". I thought it was unusual for an assistant coach of an AFL club to openly support another. His heart is at Whitten oval. Piss him off to them. I have seen nothing that would make me want to keep him at the club

Like you would want Jack and Ben Silvagni yelling out Go Saints.

I never liked Libba.

As a player or as a coach.

Get rid of him...I am sure Michael will.

Jack and Ben dont work for the Saints, Libba's son doesnt work for carlton either.
But if SOS was yelling out Go Bues, I would understand his employer getting upset

If you go to the club site, it states

"Assistant coach Tony Liberatore runs his eye over the clash with the Saints... more"

Strange that it wouldn't appear that the doggies don't want him then, huh?

Useless as tits on a bull, is Libba. Piss off, dwarf.

Yeah, but you have to love this line...
