I feel sorry for him that he even thinks that he would be considered.

He strikes me as the short arsed kid in high school who was out grown by his contemporaries and who needed to jump up and down to get anyone to notice him.

Libba also reminds me of Kieren Perkins in that ad where he says, "kick it to me, kick it to me" and no one flowering kicks it to him!

Very bloody pertinent questions they'd be too. Dreaming if he thinks he'd even be considered for the job.

What is Libba's actual role at the club now?

I would have thought that he is ablke to sniff the breeze and realise that he wont get the Carlton job.

However, I do think he should try to get a job as senior coach somewhere else in the afl - he might get lucky.

Quite disappointed with his presentation at the Members' function here in Sydney. No way to the top job at Carlton.

simple question ... we are very slow ... most of our players lack "standing start" speed to really get a firm hold on an opponent ... we lack the body strength to hold our tackles ... how many times have you seen the likes of Bentick, Kouta and Stevens make running tackles.

You can't blame Libba for that ... teaching and learning are not the same thing ... just because you teach someone something doesn't mean they are going to learn it.

Also with things like chasing and tackling ... alot of it is based on your "will" not your skill.

Really a stunt to get his name in the paper and 'on the board'. What's worse than being spoken about behind your back?

Now that is classic comedy,he should go,everyone blames Pagan but Mitchell,Libba,Whitnall,Lappin and The great Kouta should be also cleaned out if the club is serious even the great Kernahan has to take some blame for the team. I would be also looking for a new part time ruckmen also if Dempsey thinks Ackland will be a good ruckmen,he is the worst Carlton player in my opinion to ever played for us in all the years i've gone for, someone like Adam Mathews never played a game but i still think got better value hoping he would make it as he didn't cost much but had injuries.

Can't believe i read this quote from TL.......... "I know that any side I coached would put their heads over the ball and they would be hard at it,"

What's he doing now????? Is he not part of the coaching staff?? Why aren't they doing that now TL?? The guy is obviously dumber than he looks!!!

He has to put his hand up, otherwise no-one can actually see where he is.

This is all part of a cunning Bulldogs plot enacted soon after John Elliott's "tragic history" comment. Get Libba to Carlton, get him into the coaching position and Carlton will be [REDACTED] for decades!

Problem is, Elliott was right and the plan was always doomed to failure.
