ran into the team at Brisbane airport after the game and Walker was in a sling not looking too good, mentioned that he might be gone for the season.

Playing him for three weeks was a stupid decision and he has probably injured it even more now.

We've sacked the coach and putting Tex in for surgery - does that mean we are officially tanking?

he was clearly in pain in the last quater whith his shoulder.

he was pretty gutsy to keep playing and shows he's level of commitment, even though he probably should not have been playing at all since the hawks debarcle.

you're one of primer movers andrew, love the way you play the game mate.
keep up the good work and come back bigger and better in 08!

Sad to hear that Tex may out for the rest of the year.
Bravo for having a dip when clearly carrying the shoulder but it time to get it right.
Looks well on the way to being an "A" grade player for the bues in 08

Setanta had an injection in his shoulder the commentators said yesterday - anyone know anything about this?

Confirmed in the same post that confirmed Fev, Harts, Joey, etc, etc, etc

A good time to develop our options up forward!

Now that doesn't surprise me - was in the 2nd quarter when he was attempting to touch a goal coming in and got knocked out of hte way... When he got up, I was sure he'd dislocated it as left arm seemed to be hanging quite limply. The trainers were with him for the walk out of the 50 and it took till after they'd left for him to use it.....

Haven't found any mention of it anywhere else but here - but maybe it was just a stinger if the jab got him through the rest of the game (and indeed if I am right about when it happened!)

Get all those operations and injuries fixed now, let the new caretaker coach get into the heads of the kids and give them game time.

Fev Setanta and Walker out - even less chance of winning.

If this is all true, I'd love to see Jake Edwards get a chance. He was close before getting injured earlier in the year & IMO would have played before Hartlett.
