Magnificent Sevens Flyer (310kb PDF)

If anyone is interested in forming a TC table, or even a Blueseum table, or even a Mike & Dan table, happy to join in.

I'll be going along for some serious Blueseum networking so happy to join up with interested parties.

can you explain the concept to me? The flyer doesn't exactly spell out the magnificent 7's part of the function - & 100 years of Carlton?????

Good deal though $150 pp OR $1,500 for a table of 10 - that table deal is great value

OK king, as far as I understand the Blues will be celebrating:

* 1907 Premiership
* 1947 Premiership
* 1987 Premiership
* Every Blue to ever wear guernsey #7

There will be some historical footage and information (courtesy of the Blueseum) for the 1907 year, with some special guests from 1947, a1987 and now to talk about those years.

Dave Hughes will do comedy, there'll be a musical act from 1 Blue and a whole heap of Carlton reminiscing.

30th of August, bookings need to be made by the 15th of August.

I've been lucky enough to have a sneak peek at the guest list and it looks like being a fantastic function.

Geez I'm tempted molsey, what sort of story should I tell my better half to get away with it?

Sounds like the Magnificent Sevens.

I have seen the running sheet for it and it will be a great event.

:( Nope.

I only get a few leave passes during the year and I have too few relatives to make up a sickness to 'visit' them at the hospital.

I'm stuffed!

Dennis Munari just gave this event a good plug on the Coodabeens today. Reckons Andrew Walker is going to take the stage and sing a few songs too. Munari said they have sold about 500 tickets already and are aiming for 600+.

Great lunch,great presentations, great use of Blueseum information (12
page flyer on every table)

The legends were everywhere - Barassi, Pratt, Collo, Elliott, Jezza, Sticks, all the current players, Naley, Southby (on my table!), most Directors (if not all), Buckley, Austin, Aitken (Ian), Hands, Stafford....it just didn't end. Pure Carlton.

Still feel like a Carlton-fan-loser when I turn up to these things though.

Great event, congratulations to all who organised it.

It was amazing when within the first few minutes of getting there being introduced to David Parkin, Trevor Keogh, Jimmy Buckley and Richard Pratt.

Had a great seat, sitting only one metre away from Richard Pratt and Greg Swann.

Tell you what, makes a bit of difference when the president who sings the team song has a bit of stage experience!

Oh, forgot to mention, I wore a red and blue tie. 8)

Great keynote speech from Jimmy.

Playing footy back then would've been a stack of fun.

Kinda sad that he had to deliver it two days before the game we don't want to win, though.

Yes, just a touch of irony about this event. :(

Anyone go along and have some stories to tell?
