Yes, there are some things in life (and death) that are more tragic than yesterday's results:

http://carltonfc.com.au/Season2007/News ... wsId=47360

or, in the linked-up Blueseum version:

http://www.blueseum.org/cfc/tiki-read_a ... ticleId=26

This is also the debut article for a TCer who I think has chosen to remain anonymous (although he will probably comment in this thread), with assistance from 'WillowBlue' on all the terribly sad details.

I could talk about how good an article that was.

I could mention the brilliant writing and research that the author put into it along with WillowBlue.

I could say that this article is a reminder that footy isn't the be all and end all.

But I don't want to toot my own horn too much. 8)

There's a couple more articles in planning by the Bluseum guys, looking forward to writing with them again. :)

Even though he didn't die, I couldn't help thinking about Peter Motley from reading that. Another tragedy :(

There is always room for a Part 2, Donstuie.

I just have to say what a brilliant job you guys have done with Blueseum!! It's a credit to those who have gathered the info and put it all together.

I think it would be the most comprehensive history of any long standing sporting club in the world - Nice work :!:
