What's he got to do with the on field stuff?

We need to bring in a whole new football department.

On-field personnel appointments, eg assistants & head coach. Not on-field player moves

okay I kind of thought that would come under off field.

Stephen Kernahan as great as he is should not have any jurisdiction to make decisions. Please sticks just work for the club in an ambassador role.

football dept is fine... we need PLAYERS to put up their hand when it gets tough. we need leaders...

kangaroos have one of the worst lists but have five-six leaders that can inspire and keep the weak list together at match day when the momentum is swinging the other direction... we dont have this necessity.

Probably a good time to point out that according to the official website, the Roos have now moved into equal 2nd on the ladder with the Hawks (who btw have a younger list than we do).

Andain's post started with ''Leave Bower alone'', something I find extremely difficult to do. I appreciate the difficulty in finding your way in a shit side, but brother he gives the impression that he has no idea.
I don't want to write the bloke off, but he is so far out of his depth at this level it's not funny. Hartlett ? Two words, INJURY PRONE.

The 3 Davis kicked were on Paul ( Why am I here?) Bower.

Yes. He got caught out for the first when he ran out of defense and couldn't get back in time, the others he was badly caught out of position.

However, in defence of Bower, his first quarter was excellent, and his use of the ball and poise also impressive.

Dr Pratt, Dr Swan and Dr Icke may well be the surgeons working on a serious Carlton (downgraded from critical last year) BUT the biggest threat to our long term prognosis is one man and one man only...........STEPHEN (Golden staph) KERNAHAN.

Until Sticks' power base is eroded, we will be just a ONCE almighty club that is now irrelevant.

Not to mention he kicked the first goal after a good mark, and about 10 minutes later was NOT paid a free kick in front of goal that was 1,000 times worse than his touch "in the back" on McVeigh in the Essendon* game. So he could easily have had 2 goals plus an assist (Setanta) in the first qtr, before shutting down Nick Davis. Last week he blanketed the currently recognised best small forward in the game.

I'm over people bagging one of our most consistent players who gets moved around all over the place, and rarely puts in a bad game.

This has already happened.

The funny thing is people make Sticks out to be a power hungry fool, who thinks he knows it all. Sticks has recognised he was doing too much, but he didn't have a choice. I'm sure he'll gladly share any decision on the coach with others.

They need to allow the footballers to play football and the athletic try hards to try hard roles .

To many blokes are getting games because of effort and not skill
While to many skilled players are stuck doing the accountable roles

wiggens plays the small forward role and has kicked 20 goals in 86 games .

wiggens needs to be given the role that Houlihan gets because if houlihan played forward he would kick 2 or 3 each week

they keep trying to turn top liners into dower defenders and players who should be in defensive role playing the play makers role

Effort is one thing be you also have to reward skill and it doesn't happen

We can start with a plan.
Like so that the players actually understand their roles and play to a gameplan.
Maybe then Bower would actually know what hes doing. I reckon he has attributes.
Then maybe Kennedy can go back to playing the kind of role he used to play before we drafted him.
Then maybe Gibbs might be creative (you know? number 1 pick)
Then maybe Betts can stop being this bloke running around trying to snaffle arms to pin unstead of playing as a real crumber.

Pagan is a digraceful coach and he has brought catastrophy to this club.

The problem with Paul Bower is that we're playing him out of position. His natural game isn't a defensive one. And yet we are forcing him to be a defender. Why do we try to make everyone into a defender?
