Groundhog day - and hopefully 7 more of them.

PROS

1. Fisher - great game, presents all day

2. Simpson - has raised his game surprisingly

3. Waite - was decent early before a few brain fades

4. ?

5. 7 more to go. Come on PP

CONS

1. Gibbs playing on 1 leg - REST HIM YOU CLOWNS. As if it was important that he play today.

2. Ross young playing instead of a grigg or russel - absolutely kidding.

3. Ruck deficit - detrimental week after week. Everitt's birthday today. The lack of ruckmen may be the catalyst for the PP

4. Hartlett's hammy - terrible shame, was looking ok. Murky future

5. Absolute lack of resistance - we're honestly a joke. Ending on 5 wins would make us more of a joke

Don't really see many signs for the future in any of these games either. Bower at least looked a little more like a footballer even though he lost Davis often.

Very little to smile about. Pick 1 is all that can be salvaged from this mess.

By the way, I've decided that I'd rather denis go at the end of the year as opposed to now.

He's gotta go, but a reactive win would be so worthless it's not worth it.

Let him coach it out.

4 wins. Bye bye denis

Pros:

Fisher - presented well and never stopped trying

Fev not having a brain fade

TBird was pretty solid on O'Laughlin

not much else, Setanta always tries

7 games to go

Cons:

Basic disposal errors all day - what is ross young doing in an ALF team???

Decision making errors - Bower playing on in defensive 50 when the game was in the balance

Gibbs playing at all - would have been better rested and Grigg getting another game

Ruck - what ruck?, it will wreck JK and Setanta would be better off in defense, oh yeah defense, do you know what that is Denis

Harts hammy, at least it isn't the one which was torn off the bone last year.

and to top it off having to listen to that flower flower Dwayne all day.

We are just a % booster for opposition at the moment.

Pros
Went to see Harry Potter and missed out on most of the match.
Bought new shoes while out
Fisher did well.

Cons
Gibbs - why is he playing if every 10 minutes he comes off limping?
Bad decision making

Yeah I agree. the tradgedy is that if Lance comes back, JK will be in the 2's.

You must be joking. Did you watch the game?? ok, he wasnt the best, but he ran hard, chased and tried hard all day. I thought he was a pro rather than a con.

my pros

1. kennedy and his work ethic and presentation and follow up efforts.
2 first 15 minutes
3 fisher great on the lead
4 fevola for not losing it

cons

lost again badly

Pros:

We should get Ackland, Teague and Saddington back in the team this week for Kennedy, Bower and Gibbs.

Cons:

The lack of support from the young kids for Kouta. Does he have to do everything himself at his age.

Pros

First 20 minutes

Cons

Rest of the game.

It is not a shame that we lost, it is the manner in which we lose.

As much as Pick 1 and say 3 would be great, playing like that for 7 more weeks will destroy some of these kids surely.

You can't ask 35,000 members to put there hands in their pockets no mater how passionate they are and serve up that non competitive rubbish.

We showed so much early and then - no ticker....

Unfortunate for these kids.

there is absolutely no leadership...if we get pick 1 & 3/4 pick 3/4 must be used to recruit a seasoned & hardened professional between 23-25y.o

bower giving away four goals at crucial moments from poor positioning, decision making whatever you like...very disappointing...

hartlett doing his hammy again...

jk...hmm i dont know...he's pretty bad atm...need him to have a massive pre season...can't mark the ball atm.. he is quite useless...

not much to promote from the bullants except blackwell, at least his decision making is superior albeit he is a chip and run kind of player...

austin must be a chance to get a game now that hartletts season is just about over...

Why is everyone so quick to bag a 19 (yes 19) year old, second year player for our woes? That is an appalling call. His form is not great, but look at other recently drafted, well regarded talls: Gumbleton, Hansen, Thorp etc - how many of these guys play regular senior footy? Granted they were all drafted last year, but Kennedy was bottom aged and will take time. He probably should be in the twos for his development.

Pagan constantly blames the "kids", but the senior players have been much worse than our young players.

Pro: I saw a player for the Bullants that that Denis may draft to play in the ruck to go ahead of his other great selections in McLaren & Ackland : No. 64, Brent Bransgrove

If you are going to criticise someone then learn how to spell.

Just because Ross Young had a clanger to a guy coming off the bench you crucify him? What about the pass that he gave to Lappin in the 3rd that allowed him to kick a goal? What about the pass that he gave to Fisher in the last that allowed him to kick a goal? Ross Young is one of the better kicks in the team. It is just unfortunate that he doesn't have perfect disposal all of the time. At least he gets some kicks as opposed to 1 or 2 others in the team who barely worry the stats man.

we dont have any senior players [apart from kouta & lappin, it's quite sad actually], we just have heaps & heaps of middle tier players and they are all doing their bit, but not much leadership in blues colours atm.... jk has been in the system for the best part of two years.... you can tell if a player will make it after 15 or so games....jk has his work cut out.. hope he makes it but i am not optimistic...

we need to get firrito, griffen, dal santo into this team...

dont know how.. but some woppa trades will be required in order to get a couple of seasoned pros into this squad....

I reckon you would have written Simmo off pretty early though huh?! Josh Kennedy will make it....I've seen enough already to know that - Paul Bower on the other hand...he's got his work cut out - but they're young - they're learning and patience is required.
