Fair enough, for a non-Russell set of inclusions.

Denis is trying a novel way of tanking, by playing players who aren't very good

Good luck Clarkey 100 games and a well deserved senior spot this week.

Looks like French has been named (and Bryan, Prender emergencies). I wonder whether he'll end up playing.

Adelaide no change.

No better way to tank it than by playing Clarke ... that said, poor bugger deserves a spot though

At least Bentick hasn't been dropped...

Apparently the senior players called a special meeting for players only before training today. At least someone is trying to show some leadership - perhaps we'll see a bit more on the field, too ...

Players' only meeting hey?

Hmm....

Call me negative but I don't like the sound of that.

I do.

I reckon they would have just talked about what has happened over the past few weeks and discuss ways they can resolve it to be able to start winning games.

I hope so PJ. I just didn't want something sinister going on.

You don't reckon there's another Simon Beaumont within our ranks?

Pagan knew about it but played it down, just said the players were trying to engender some spirit.

Good luck Clarkey.. he does have speed to burn and his dad was a more than useful player for us back in the early 80's. A couple of his dad's goals were integral to the 82 preliminary win from memory. so speed, speed, speed and goals, goals, goals..

I don't understand why Wiggins is a required player week in week out though. He just doesn't inspire me... but que sera sera.

Personally i would drop the following:

Carrazzo, Livingston, Thornton
Simpson, Whitnall, McGrath
Wiggins, Stevens, Lappin
Morrell, Waite, Camporeale
Deluca, Fevola, Betts
French, Walker,
Bentick, Clarke, Houlihan, Teague

and just leave kouta in x 22 clones. 22 koutas would beat any team.

Go Kouta.

Judging from the footage I saw, I don't think anythign sinister was going on.
They had their meeting at some cafe from what I could gather from the footage.

I heard Barnaby didn't train tonight and is not likely to play. Will be interesting to see who lines up in the VFL tomorrow. Prender or Bryan may not be there.
