Get a handle on it Brizzy....that'll put you in a good mood.

This year has been a disaster for Fev, after such a promising start.

Ego is a dirty word.....for the members of Y Generation.

All this says is that he is "available for selection", not that he will play. I suggest you interpret it 100% correctly before you rebut others so bluntly.

If you read his original thread it stated he was in more trouble. Too bad it was merged. Where in the article does it say he will be playing for the bullants. It will be a rumor until there is proof that he is being dropped at the moment no proof equals rumor

No other info, just what I heard.

It does raise an interesting question though...should he be able to walk straight into the seniors.

His form has been awful, his attitude has been appalling. Would we select him on form?

Lance was played all year even though he continually played like dogs bollocks.. so why shouldnt Fev walk straight back in.. God knows we need a fit and firing Fev up and running the this week more then ever... without him it's going to get ugly(er) against the Swans

I'd interpret the press release as will be considered for selection, not that he will definitely be selected. But Swann was asked pre-game about why he didn't play for the ants last week and he said it would achieve nothing.

true....but these forums are full of factual information aren't they?

The real question is whether Fevola deserves to walk straight into the team.

Yes a Fevola at half decent form would walk straight into the team, but he has not played a half decent game since round 2.

Sory some more facts for you  I think you meant to say hasn't had a decent game since round 3 against Essendon* where he scored 8 goals. The round 2 match was Geelong where we go thrashed.

I'm not saying it's any more than a rumour, and I believe he will play. However, I was just pointing out that though you may not believe the rumour, you can't say it's bollocks by trying to prove it with evidence that doesn't at all prove your point.

Just on Ch 10 then. Fev doesn't seem to be too certain that hes going to play for the seniors this week.

Fevola is the best FF in the league no doubt bout that, but to be honest with u i couldn't 10 shites if he left, so long as we we get what he is worth (whether it b Judd, or a good player and a first rounder etc.)

I actually enjoyed watching the demons game, the forward structure was good (we have alot of options) and watching the bowers, hartlets , Griggs running around got me excited.

I'd say we are one cull away for getting things back on track at the blues.

Fev could very well turn out in red this weekend. He's no certainty to play in the ones. Told the group he was a "New man" today. The boy who cried wolf???

This whole 'return to the fold' has been decidedly unconvincing... everything about it. Fev's reaction last week when interviewed by Hutchy. The press release from the Club.

And Fevola's interview after meeting with Pagan ("when you have something taken away from you...") - where was the talk about the Club? Nothing! All it was about him, nothing about the Club, wanting to help his teammates, putting the Club first.

The longer this goes on, the more I think that he could well be on his way out. Of course, a new coach might have something to say about that, but I am thinking that Swann is very much of the mind that if we can get a good trade for Fevola, that he wants to go down that path.

After all, he was involved in the whole Tarrant saga, and has seen first handall the dynamics of a disruptive player, and the outcome of biting the bullet and moving them on.

Plus, it MUST be in the back of his mind, that if Judd does decide he wants to come home (which I personally don't believe will happen, but who knows), having Fevola as trade bait puts Carlton in the box seat to get the best player in the comp. That has to be tempting.

Popular with the kids, popular with the members, popular even with the coach...... but not as popular with all parts of the Carlton playing group.

Don't be lulled into thinking he is popular with all the members.
There is a core group of high-profile supporters who are sick to death of him and have been for years.
