Appartently Caroline Wilson was pumping up Bluey McKennas tyres on Footy Classified last night. We don't see that up here in Bris Vegas. Anybody see it?

That lines up a bit with my contacts info about the betting on the new Coach. I also hear that Sticks fancies Ratts, Swannie fancies McKenna, just don't know who is the Voss advocate. Big Dick maybe?

The only mention I heard of McKenna was his name being mentioned by her after Voss (they were the only two). But this was near the start, so she might've said something later. I'd say Caro's on the Voss-bandwagon, not that that means a whole lot.

But Carey is undeniably on the "Pagan is the best, it's all the players' fault" train.

What a surprise... Sticks pumping up one of his mates. I love Sticks as a Carlton man through and thorugh, but the sooner his decision making is limited to which Navy Blue and White tie to wear each day the better.

I'm not saying Ratten is the wrong choice mind you. But Sticks needs to remove himself from that process, or someone needs to do it for him (that would be you Swanny).

We could just about own trade week and the drafts following. 8)

Salopek & Chaplin from Port Adelaide?

That might be a little closer. I was surprised when Port came up as an option, as I didn't think they were in a position to load up for a GF tilt - which would be the only reason you'd bring Fev into your team. But then I suppose Port would be thinking that the Burgoynes, the Cornes, Fev, Ebert and Lade are enough to seriously compete. They could be right. Imagine if we got Boak as a part of that deal... did anyone see hm on the weekend? He'll be fantastic.

Surely one place Fev would not be going would be Port Adelaide. He would be looking at going to a premiership contender and that would be WC or perhaps Adelaide who are the two who could really use him.

Salopek? Injury prone and we'd be lucky to see his best. We needed an injection of speed and skill , we have plenty of ball winners. Chaplin is just a mid range defender at best.

If he goes to WC and there is no Judd or Kerr in the deal then there would have to be two high class players involved and at the right age as well. This could be difficult. [/u]

Spot on. He needs to be removed from all important decisions. He has been the one constant with every on and off field deicision since the Elliott days, and has defended every one of them.

Ambassador? Yes. Director / Chairman of Selectors / part of footy department? No thanks.

Pavlich
Tarrant
Fevola

in one forward line?

Surely this deal is dependant on what Fremantle can get by trading Pavlich back to Adelaide.

At least Nick Stevens would have two easier games each year and we would have 8 less goals kicked on us.

There are some difficult contract/legal issues to resolve first, but the ball is in motion. Firstly they are definite about a Carlton reserves team next year. This will do a number of things. Firstly, kids playing in the magoos will be playing roles that the Senior Coach needs for their development. Secondly, they will play half of their games at PP under the watchful eye of our Coaches.

I heard a whisper that King Richard is leaving it to Swannie to resolve. In other words, less listening to Sticks. If that is correct, maybe Vossy's actions have harmed his chances and there is a 2 horse race between Ratts and McKenna.

I reckon if Pago Pago survives the rest of the season, then Ratts looks less likely, because they could pay out Denis and make Brett caretaker for the last few rounds. This way a proper process could be implemented and if Swannie really has the ear of Dick, then it is wide open with Bluey the more likely.
