The time is now
your people need you!!

We voted
We are members
We see that the Finacial part of the ship s turning towards the light.

All these this are great but.....
Can we be given some small insignificant insight into the thinking about the current MC and Team.

In the end ...it's a game and we love it but we are hurting.

Personally I feel that TC should have a representative on the board (official or not) that can be the voice of the people on this board. One of the admins, perhaps? I mean, it's great that we get visits from board members occasionally, however it would be good to have a voice every time the board is summoned.

I doubt that TC or any internet forum are "the voice of the people". Opinions expressed here are not always in line with the feelings of the average supporter - sometimes they are, but not always....

I nominate Fevolution.

But seriously that's a stupid idea. Who the hell do we think we are to deserve a spot on the board? If anyone on the forum wants to run for the board during an election they're more than welcome and I'm sure they'll get at least five or six votes from their mates.

I can tell you though that the anti-Pagan sentiments are out there amongst the Carlton faithful.

If a representative from TC was on the board, then they wouldn't be able to disclose anything to TC until it was publicly released anyway, completely defeating your intended purpose.

So it doesn't have a lot of merit.

Notwithstanding the vigorous debate on TC late last year which IMO had a big impact on the final result of the CFC board there are already a few members of TC who are board members.

And there is a significant argument to be made that the reason that the result was so significant was that TC is independent. If a TC representative, especially a mod as suggested, this ceases to be the case.

We dont need TCers on the board.
What for?
Were a loose bunch of hardcore Carlton supporters all sprooking our opinions.
None of us speak for TC exclusively.

Hey EB, in all honesty made this idea was being bandied around by many people back before, during the last club elections...

...that said, because the idea came from donstuie - I think it's crap, and abhor it with much vigour. :-D

Besides, we don't need a rep - the board has a presence on this site and therefore the more relevant information *hopefully* makes it to those on the board.
