Pro
Simmo - busted a gut for the club
Setanta - a star! Has passion and was totally spent in the last quarter.
Gibbs - that mark! Worth coming from China just to see that!
Houla - shut down Davey and created opportunities.
Bower - ran ok, has no confidence
One more pro - I actually got to the footy at the "G" and thanks to Jars into the Social club.
Cons
There is something drastically wrong with the coaching and set up philosophy. Very wrong.
No passion, no belief in each other and no leadership!
Scotland - lazy, undisciplined, weak as p**s!
Lappin - greedy, crucified Bower when he didn't let him know what was going on around him, disgraceful from an experienced player. Also didn't bring young players into the game when he had the chance(s). Very disappointing.
Our kids are really struggling! Are they really that bad???
Should have won - Walker (no where near fit, couldn't tackle), Waite and Young all missed very gettable shots in the last quarter. Had the chance but couldn't deliver, story of our year really.

pros: a lot of kids played in a lot of positions, and most of them showed something. Waite and Simmo leading from the front, trying to take the game on and spark their teamates.

cons: dissapointing that Heath Scotland isn't using the opportunity to really step up and show leadership when the team needs him, ditto Thornton.

We're not going to get Kreuzer. Richmond are an absolute lock for his signature.

I think their point is mate if w dont win another game we will get a pp at number 1. My point is we won the clearances anyway today and still got smashed by the 15th team minus half their side. So what flower good would winning the hitouts make anyway???

imagine if white was playing for the blues and had 44 hit outs.
i see your reasoning but we cant depend on kouta & setanta in the ruck.. we need a RUCK. and we need to TANK to get the BEST ruck in this years draft.

i dont think we are a premiership team for at least anothger two years, but if we get a RUCK then add stevens and fev to this line up..with a new coach and an added pre season in the kids legs....then i think finalist is more than a possiblity...and i dont think we will ever win a preimieship if we dont get a RUCK....NOW...
all past premiership teams had all australian rucks..and we need one.

Having a dominant midfield is much more important than a dominant ruck (running mids not rucking mids)!!! eg Brisbane in the early 2000's. Being competitive in the ruck is much more important than being dominant!!!! Therefore giving your mids a chance!!! To me the major issue about today is that we still had 20 goals kicked against us, we couldnt stop the Altona Under 9's from scoring!!!

im almost 100% confident that austin will play CHB next year
im also equally confident next years midfield will consist of stevens, murphy, walker, gibbs, walker & grigg.
carrazzo will resume his duties in a defensive role..

As much as I'd love to have a guy like Kreuzer growing with Murphy, Gibbs, Walker, Simpson, Carazzo and Stevens (really, that group could in a few years be the elite midfield of the competition) and giving them first use, it won't change the fact that at present these guys are being given no direction as to how to use the ball once they do get it, not to mention our forwards not being proactive enough to give them opportunities. That starts at the top.

And I stand by my feelings that Kreuzer will be wearing a tigers jumper next year.

Pros... When JK and Gibbs are played near their natural positions they play well and look like good players.. hint hint no more ruck and back pocket please DP.

PROS

8 more flowering losses to go to KRUEZER.
8 more flowering losses to farwell DP (they'd be crazy to sack him now, although that's my signature, as we'd win immediately).
Simmo, Setanta, and Carrots. All very good.
JK - showed glimpses.

CONS

Eddie. Hmmm, let's hope he just ain't right after his injury. Cause if he's fit then he's gotta be traded. Terrible in all areas.
Waite's kicking - he's our Travis Cloke, a flawed genius.
JR- gone. He ain't an AFL player, sadly.
Playing our no.1 draft pick after he rolled his ankle. Why risk further damage in this game FFS !!!
See above re 1AW. Unbeleivable they risked him. His shoulder was 75% at best, and if he'd been crunched could've done serious damage.
Scotland. Time he realised that it was us who ressurected his career. Woeful performance. Should be put on notice.
