Hang your head in shame as you have no idea. Let today be a lesson.

I'm glad Ackland was dropped. We were better as a team without that mug running around for us..

And it sends a message to that clown to get his ass into gear.. It also sends a message to Pagan of another pathetic and act of desperation in signing him for 3 years..

Honestly, do u think we should make a petition to sack Pagan?? I think PriceIsWrong brought up the topic last week. As members we should show the board we want him gone, and i dont think anyone will be complaining if that happens!

Might see some real improvement in the group if we bring in another coach. Maybe rejuvenate and lift their spirits a bit??

We all know flower Pagan wont retire!

I've had it!! Sick of this shit, and its honestly not the players.. Anyone who saw our game plan out there today (or did we have 1??) will know that tactically Pagan doesnt have a clue about this modern game..

Fancy playing that paddock style bombing it long where the Melbourne defenders could gather the ball and take it down for an easy goal..

Would would have been smashed if we'd played a better team.. And it all comes down to our use of the ball and options..

Who's teaching and showing them the way..??

Your right he needed delisting not dropping...his game vs the Coburg Tigers was woeful and was evidence of how pitiful he is...
We got beat in the hitouts but Setanta gave us a contest unlike Ackland who is as feeble a ruckman as I have seen....

Your kidding youself Game. Ackland was crap in the Bullants as well. White would of slaughtered and had an influence on the game if Ackland played.

We were in it today, give us a full forward and a ruckman and the match was ours. White had no contest at the ruck duals.

The MC must have also thought he didnt deserve a game, unless your saying that they pick the team based on what we have to say here on TC.

As for Setanta he was named second in the best players today, gee he must have been absolutely useless!!

Honestly thegame, what are you on about? Do you think Cain Ackland deserved his spot after the past 3-4 weeks? What we need as a team is for there to be pressure on players to make sure they play at their best for the club, jumper, and their team mates, pressure from those in the 2nds and pressure from the MC to say if you dont 'bust a gut' you shouldnt get a gig!!

Totally disagree - was a non-entity in the Bullants! Against Freo we still won clearances, as we did against Melbourne.

Not Ackland per say, but we needed a second ruckman to support Setanta

Having Kouta do it didn't work

Kouta was doing it today to run with Jeff White. Its worked in the past and its the only game of the year he can ruck around the ground.

Have to agree Imitation.

We do need another Ruck (I've advocated this for years) but Ackland isn't it. I wasn't impressed with him at St Kilda and I'm not impressed with him now. I was hoping the news we were recruiting him was a bad rumour but alas....

I watched Ackland yesterday at Preston and whilst he did get hands to the ball at the bounces often enough, did nothing with it. His efforts around the ground weren't effective and whilst the ground was heavy and not conducive to the big men, Coburgs were far more effective.

Overall he's undersized, doesn't have a big leap and lacks Ruck smarts.

I thought Setanta gave us more whilst getting beaten than Ackland would have.
