Not sure its the Official Liverpool Website - but if it is - it makes the Official AFL Club Discussion Boards look pretty tame.

http://www.theage.com.au/news/Sport/Kew ... 61690.html

It is interesting that newspapers of record are quoting fan websites in their pieces these days.

Can't wait till Caro or Mike start quoting "Synbad" in their next Lance Whitnall piece. :P

Second time he was quoted too.

PJ's been quoted twice
I've been quoted once at TBV
Same for Tyrant
Ah...alpha1 was quoted a few weeks back

Funny how they seem to have a few favourite websites. I mean, it's usually HHQ, here, Demonland, PRE and a couple of random ones. Get some variation guys!

When the Elliott Stand was, ahem, temporarily renamed I got a call from BM, who spotted the new signage at training, and I posted the news up on TBV, that post made it into The Age, back page of the Saturday Sports section.

Might have to try and track down a copy of Inside Football, do they have a regular forum spotters piece or summat?

I remember that Camel - they were suggesting that you were somehow responsible...

In 2003 The Hun ran a piece about me kicking up a fuss after JE's push polling... I was in the paper three times in thw space of a month leading up to the board spill - my gran kept a scrapbook and I copped heaps from everyone else...

It is very disurbing when you find word for word non credited quotes from yourself or others in media peices. Smacks of lazy jounalism in my view.

No issue when it is credited though.

Just back to the infamous Elliot sign whiteout. More than one staffer suggested that I had been directly responsible for that glorious peice of subversion. Given that I written a piece on how to access that area after hours a couple of weeks before didn't help.

Watch out for some post-modern reporter to write about posters posting about reporters quoting them

But - don't quote me on that

I can't remember who it was, but a quote on www.theage.com.au or www.news.com.au put me on to The Blue View... the infighting over there put me on to TC...
