I think this is where Bondi got his Masai warrior idea from. Now why didn't I think of that??
Plagiarism, Bondi? Tch tch.

I guess i'll give it a go.

and to make it more realistic i'll only include current players who i think are up to snuff and will be around in 2010 onwards.

B Draft Pick, Austin, S. O'hAilpin
HB Thornton, Draft Pick, Draft Pick
C Simpson, Walker , Grigg
HF Fisher , Kennedy, Waite
F , Fevola, Edwards, Draft Pick
R A. O'hAilpin, Murphy, Gibbs
In: Hampson, Russell , Stevens Draft Pick
Emg:Carrazzo, Anderson, Betts

it's hard to speculate on players futures who haven't played much or at all.
so i'm showing a bit of blind faith in ando, Grigg, Edwards and Austin

whos not to say they could be replaced with bower, jamison, blackwell and benjamin? thats all speculative and who knows really. as long as some of them become regular players in ou best 22 thats all that matters.
i think it would be foolish to think that more than 4 or 5 will, and will be established senior players by 2011.

Fev and Stevo are all thats left of the old guard. scoots is handy but has limitations.
half the backline needs to be replaced with some a graders.

the young rucks we have must develop in to premier players.
zacky and ando look promising if raw.

carrazzo and betts are two of my fav players but do they have premiership qualities? maybe as squad players in a good team - they are borderline for me. still plenty of scope for improvement.

bentick i do not think will ever get to the standard we need and will eventually get replaced with a top draft pick in the mclean type mold.

we are still a long way from number 17 i feel.

Blue Sombrero....a long long time ago (20+years) I was a Human Geography-Politics teacher.

I studied African Politics and African Spatial Organisation of Humans at Uni. I remember scratching my head trying to remember the South African tribes; there's over 700 tribes in Africa.

So, maybe you're right, I was influenced by something I read recently on TC....and it was probably 'your' Masai suggestion that was sitting fresh in my mind.

I'll have to refer to my books one day to guzump you with a taller tribe from South Africa.

Promise sir, I will footnote my references in the future.
