Its been mentioned a few times by both Walker and Pagan that they want him to focus on controlling his temper as they felt that was letting him down.

Expect him to be in the leadership next season and I think he will make a great captain one day.

I am not sure if it was just me, but the sight of Simpson leaving the ground the other week vs Hawthorn attempting to gee up the troops whilst a mute Captain in Lance walked alongside, left an indelible imprint and convinced me that Lance's days were numbered.

Perhaps the Match Committee saw the same thing?

and who's that? Waite, Simpson, why don't we just give Gibbs a go next week? When you treat the captaincy like this it basically becomes void.

Ahh, I see (in relation to 1AW). I do remember reading something about his perfectionism.

I think the rotating captaincy, at least for this season, is a good idea. Stevens would be captain without Lance, Fev (enough said), Kouta there's no point, and no one else stands out as a ready-made captain. So, what do we do? We give all other potential candidates a go. It gives them some confidence, a bit of a reward, it's also a bit of an audition (to a certain extent - I'd see Stevens passing it on to Walker/Murphy/Gibbs).

It's a good idea for this year, not for next year.

Terry Daniher is currently on SEN with Bartlett, Balme and Waldron.

They asked him who was captain this week, he ummed for a bit, then said he would know after training this afternoon.

Who will captain on Sunday at the SCG ? After a couple of poor weeks (form & attutude to teamates), Scotland would have to be a poor choice. And there would no chance that they will give it to Fev. Do we go back to Waite ?

I think K-Dog deserves another go this week. He certainly led from the front. Otherwise Walker would be my choice if he was fit.

I would leave it with Simmo. I reckon he earned it on the weekend. He looks like he gave a damn and lifted. I reckon he should have it for a couple more weeks and see what happens.

If Whitnall is infact injured for another 3 weeks it means roatating the captancy for 3 more players.

Scotland and Fev just don't deserve it. So who else?

Murphy would be a great one.
