..we (most of us) all like fev, and understand he can be great.. ..but will everyone stop bloody holding his hand.. ..i'm tired of all the moddycoddling (sic?) and pandering to his every whim.. ..regardless of what is expected of his on-field tactics, he by now ought to be both responsible and committed.. ..he is neither.. ..and he's had his fair share of second chances, in fact he's had too many.. ..let's get one thing straight, he is not a victim.. ..unless you count his own repetitive bad judgement..

..and to think that some of us (myself included at one stage) thought he was captain material.. ..he's been good for us (most of the time), and we've been exceptionally good to him.. ..but if he doesn't wanna put in what's required of him (and required of all professional footballers) then so be it.. ..he isn't what we all want him to be, and what some firmly believe him to be despite all evidence to the contrary..

What truth is there to this speculation? Is the man willing to stay and work on his act under DP / Smorgo / the Powers That Be At Princes Park or will he move on up and step on out?

It seems that every man and his dog wants Fev.

The question is: What does Fev want?

What could Sydney give us for him?

What will WCE give us?

AND SO ON

Synbad is right about this one.

Fev is worth a lot more than many clubs are willing to offer.

We would want 1 or 2 soild players and a 1st rounder in my opinion.

I dont think anyone will give us that.

This part's wrong for starters...

Quote:
Speculation is rife that Fevola will be a free agent at the end of the season with Carlton seemingly losing patience with their all-Australian spearhead.

Fevola is not a free agent at the end of this year.

No one knows what other clubs will offer. Talk about 'what ifs'...how do you know what other clubs may or may not be willing to offer???

I'll tell you something right now, IF Judd tells West Coast that he wants to come home, Trevor Nisbett will be on the phone to Swann quicker than a Synbad rebuttal.

Maybe some of this paranoia is based on lack of confidence for Carlton to be able to engineer a suitable trade, and not get ripped off. Personally, I have complete faith in Swann that if Fevola is traded, the deal will be a good one for the Club.

Big call that, Sieg...Synner's rebuttals could beat a McLaren F1 off the line...

Hang on.

My speculation is exactly that...speculation.

I really dont think Judd will leave WCE...he is the captain of a powerhouse at its prime.

As for other trades...someone like DelSanto or O'Keefe form the swans is not at a parrallel to Fev.

So what I am trying to say is...if we trade Fev you would want a lot for him.

Nothing more nothing less.

And there isn't one person on this site who would disagree with that.

glad to see that Ratts (after his interview on Footy classified) has basically concurred with this post and also told Fev that his performance benchmark has changed and that he is not just judged on goals scored, but assist!

Lets hope Fev doesn't do a brain explosion like Barry Hall though!
