I am over all the negative crap.

We always seem to be bashing the club.

We spend far to much energy and time focusing on the pitty negatives and never take praise for those who do try there best and get no recognition.

Lets look at the positives and focus our attentions on the positives like Hartts game on Saturday, i thought he presented well and looked a little dangerous at times, with a little more confidence we could realy impress.

Gibbs composure in the back line, he has time to get rid of the ball and has great vison.

Murph working hard, imagine what this kid going to be like in a few years time.

Setanta's education. He is getting great exposure that will only benefit him and us supporters.

Our boys need confidence not to be bashed.

Blue skys a head.

Melvey!

Where have you been all our lives? Hope you haven't been waiting at home for that Bower for Shannon Hurn trade to come through or anything.

Now, if you have a look at most of the posts, you'll see the only blokes who are copping a bashing are:

Pagan
Lance
Fev (and even then only from some posters)
Ackland
and Saddington

The guys you mention (Murphy, Gibbs, Hatlett, etc) seem to have received a fair bit of praise for their play. And in fact, you are right, confidence for the young players is the major issue facing this club. That's why Den Den should walk out the door, cause he's belittled their efforts for far too long now.

I think you'll find most of us on here are very grateful for the youngsters we've got, and just want to see them have the chance to blossom.

Maybe this could be a "turning point" for TC. Whenever a new thread based on negativity is created, it should include at least one reasonable positive point - and this point must be a true positive, not an ironic, cynical observation, disguised as a joke.

Just a thought.

Positivity for TC - it's the "way of the future".

I think most of it has been positive.

We're positive that Pagan's time is up

This is the thing I'm talking about.

I've got no real problem with it, but it's not balanced by enough praise.

i have a life.

actually staying away from this website has done me the world of good.

as of late i have been reading some of the crap and it just makes me sick and made me realise how much more positive one could be about this club.

we finally get some direction and there are those that are still throwing cheap swings.

yeah yeah yeah!

TC is where Carlton supporters go to rejoice in how crap Carlton is.

The pub is where Carlton supporters go to have a good time, drink beer and laugh about how crap Carlton is.

:-D

I'm positive!

POSITIVLY FED-UP OF THIS CRAP!

Sorry if i have been posting more negative ratio recently but i only do so because i've tried to be positive for 3 years now, but all i get is 'hang in there, be positive, blue-skys ahead, exciting times at carlton, blah-blah-blah!

How positive will people be in a few weeks when we could be looking at our 3 spoon in a row??????????????? Don't laugh...........it could well happen.

Melbourne have a new coach now and are taking on the 'nothing to loose' approach to the rest of the season - very unpredictable.

Richmond looked a much better side the other night and Nathan Brown is back!

I dare say this place wont be so positive if they overtake us on the ladder!

But here i am being negative again........................i'm sorry! I do TOTALLY UNDERSTAND where your coming from.

I'll make you a promise. For everything 'negative' post i put up.............i MUST add a something that's 'Positive' to it!

This post has been mostly negative so i'll start with it..............

Ratio-correcting Positive:
Hartlett - Finally showing us all what he's got and, dare i say it, remindes me of an Aaron Hamill type player (which we so desperatly need).
He got plenty of time-on-groun too which helped and i could see him playing the remainder of the season!

Good on him!

:-D :-D :-D

One other thing forgotten is even last week we got beaten by 77 points but we still kicked 15 goals or there abouts and we were shite

Gibbs is a massive positive. The more I see him play, the better he looks. Even in that Freo thrashing, Gibbsy was bloody composed. He never ceases to amaze me. Bloody glad we picked him up.

The people on this site are generally retarded no matter how positive they are. Negative has had a good crack lately but we'll come positive soon and still be retarded. Hopefully.

Unless this site becomes 'official' and 'retarded' becomes 'passionate' only and: shit we'll have to go to the naughty room.

Where naughty is passionate and retarded is Carlton and 17 is upon us...
