Apologies if my sentiments don't match everyones. maybe Fev will read this and understand. maybe he won't.

An Open letter to Fev

Brendan

I am a proud and passionate Carlton supporter who has watched your career start slowly then blossom as it did last year. I speak on behalf of many supporters when I say how we watch in awe when you go back from 50 and bang it through at post height. How we screamed when you conjured up a miracle goal from the boundary in Adelaide to win the match. And how we watched with pride as you won the Coleman Medal, one of the few highlights this club has had in the past few years.

We’ve taken you on board and supported you with a passion that is reserved only for those ‘special’ players with a touch of larrikin about them. It hasn’t been all smooth sailing, but we rode the bumps content in the knowledge that at least you were “our Fevâ€

Agreed-- That's probably what Swan an co have told him.

We, the good people of TC should get some money together and run this open letter as an ad in the Hun.

He is bound to see it then.

It might sway him to stay with us.

Aircav I think that sums it up.

I want him to stay, but not at any cost.

I support the club's stand on this Issue.

TOP TOP post Aircave! We all want Fev to stay at the club. But ONLY if he will commit to the club and I mean REALLY commit. The worst thing that can happen is if he comes back saying he will commit and promise the world, but doesn't live up to it. That will really sting...

I really hope Fev gets to read your letter mate. Truly heartfelt and the way most of the TCers feel. Top stuff!

A great letter.

There have been many flawed champions over the years. Fev is a
champion, and goes off the rails every now and again.
We need Fev, and if he wants us, it is his decision to ssshape up.
He has proved what he can do on and off the field when he wants to.

That is the Fev we want. No need to be an angel, but a little bit of common sense at the right times.

Great stuff!

I guess this mirrors many of our thoughts.

Toe the line or adios.

We no longer have put up secondary efforts and lack lustre performances on or off the field.

As much as we have loved the big fella, we are moving in a different direction these days.

We are on the verge of seeing some sustained improvement. Whether Fev can be a bit player in an emerging side remains to be seen.

Aircav, excellent letter best thing I've read this week. What needs to happen now, is for someone, anyone, to grab Brendan by the ear, sit him down and make him read it.
Or if necessary read it to him!!!!!!!!!
