Great effort for Houla to hit 150 games at 25 years of age and Betts in just his third year at the Club.

And close to a thousand clangers from the bloke with the "silkiest skills" in footy.
Joke! Disgrace! Joke!

QFT

I like "Quarterback". He has his flaws, but I've always held the belief that TC members give it to him far too much.

I wonder if Eddie can continue improving to be a consistently good small forward/crumber?

Never been a big fan of Hoops. In his defense I reckon he gets played out of position too often. Dangerous up forward. If he's played down back I have a conniption.

Bettsys going alright. Just suprised DP hasn't tried him in the ruck to give him that 'extra edge'.

Hope they both have a cracking game regardless.

Congrats, Ryan! And what Dani said (without the wink)!

Let's just hope they play you in the forward 6 coz, let's face it, you suck in defence (see "soft" comments above)

And congrats Eddie! Let's hope you make the 100 within the next 3 years, and that you win one or more of the following medals in the meantime
- Chas
- Norm
- Dick
- Nick

Good effort from Ryan sticking it up all the doubters, just a shame most them are clueless feral Carlton fans.

Anyone on here who knows anything about footy will know that Hoops has been given the hardest tasks this year and has performed them well.

Every week - all players are given feedback on their game and how they performed against the coaches directives. This can often resemble something like a manuscript. For the most part - the coaches have been pretty satisfied with his efforts and how he's performed the tasks given (yes, I know this for a fact).

I don't expect anyone on here to agree with me. The MVP votes from Sunday sum it up for me...I think he's up to 9. Congrats to the others who gave him the other votes!

...And well done to Ryan...a great effort...pick 73...you don't often get much out of that pick these days.

Nice post, Doc.
I agree for one. SEN gave him a big wrap for his job on Black but it seems unless you kick several goals, start a melee and sulk for three quarters of a game it's hard to get support on TC.
Well done Houla and keep it up.

I don't mind Houlihan, I can see why some people get a bit frustrated with him at times. But, at the end of the day, he's played 149 AFL games and I haven't. GOod for him, I hope he plays a blinder.

As for Eddie, he's wee ripper!

Congrats Ryan on bluffing the Carlton football club for 149 games, and obviously some of their supporters.

Life is about being in the right place at the right time and taking your opportunities.....I would suggest Houlihan has taken full advantage of a not so strong period in the clubs history and made the most of it...
I'm not a fan as most of you know but 150 games is a fair effort and deserves to be acknowledged.....

Eddie has done well for a PSD pick and I do like the way he tackles....
