Post Game Entertainment

Immediately following the game Ron Barassi will present the R.D.B. Barassi Perpetual Trophy to the winning team This trophy was first played for between Carlton and Melbourne in 1965 with the last presentation being made in 1972. Following the presentation the final play at Princes Park-Optus Oval will signal the end of AFL football being played at the venue.

A post game party for all supporters will be held in the marquee outside Optus Oval with a cover charge of just $20. Players and former players will be in attendance.

I posted this in the Talking Socials thread as well, not sure if everyone knew about it. I have been onto the club to find out if tickets can be pre-purchased once I know I'll pass the info on.

At this stage the tickets will be available on the day from the marquee or the Social Club. I have been told that the club may decide to sell them in advance, if so the info will be generated via email from the club to people on their mailing list.
