Trade Fev and use Harts and JFK rotating between the key posts with Waite and Fisher as flankers and the problem is solved.

Oh dear god, if these guys are our future CHF's we might aswell tank for another 10 years....

How is it that Collingwood can recruit so well and have all these youngsters fire and immediately show something, look at the debuts of Clarke and Reid, whilst we keep recruiting dodgy players like Kennedy and Hartlett.

Two good full-time development coaches - Alan Richardson & Brad Scott

We can now see where the club's thinking is at.

Two weeks ago JK is re-signed for 2 more years. Also, Hartlett is back in the seniors and given some serious game time to prove his worth. As an aside, Centre Half Forward as we knew it is now a redundant position in the AFL, but to have two tall (+196cm) forwards to go to is an enticing prospect. Would also allow J.Waite to settle in the back half. Would also make Fish more dangerous having two real talls around.

Meanwhile, the captain has an indefinate 'injury' and the riot act is read to Fevola. The club has finally realised that the diet of Whitnall and Fevola will not give the club long term success. I believe the new era has begun. There is one other player who needs to be 'moved on' for the club to move forward, who is selfish and plays for himself rather than the team.

One by one all of Pagan's favourites are falling. History tells us all leaders are vulnerable when their support base deserts them for one reason or another. This would then make any decision to remove the coach a fairly easy one. In any event, whether it's Pagan or Voss (or anyone else), I think they would enjoy the prospect of building around JK and Hartlett providing they come to the party. They both look like real team players to me who are prepared to do the 'sacrificial acts' as a famous Carlton premiership coach once coined them.

Bluevain, you foresaw all this didn't you?

Sorry, but for years I heard those exact same things said about Livingston and Prendergast :(

Hartlett showed some good things yesterday against freo, some promising signs. I'm also wondering if it would be worthwhile dropping Saddington and trying JK @ CHB and seeing how he goes in a defensive position.

The Drew Petrie approach........Petrie started his career ok, stalled in development and was on the skids and then was sent to CHB and kick started his career again culminating in his 7 goal performance last game. I think any move to give JK a kick start is a good idea...

Harts showed more on Saturday then JK has at senior level... JK really needs to improve his kicking and overhead marking.

JK's kicking is fine.

He has a habit of dropping chest marks, not to worry as in the end he will get it all together

Has either got any future as a chb?

Why not aim to develope each of them as versatile HB's or HF's?

Nothing to lose at this time, play them both and see how they develope. Either one will learn more as a CHB in the ones than as a CHF in the two's
