Just when we need some chearing up... here comes this news

If we lose this week, it will be only the 4th time in history that we wont have won a game in May - the other three times being in 1897, 1899, and 2002.

And what's worse is that our combined losing margin at the moment is 173 points - which is already greater than the combined losing margin in the other 3 years. However, we are 94 points shy of our worst ever PM ratio for May - which was just last year, where we went down by a massive 267 points. Last May we also lost 4 games, but played 5 - a win against Collingwood saving us from the indignity of breaking the record.

Now there's something to play for on Sunday... let's cause the upset, and not make history!

hmmm, disapointing considering May is normally a pretty good month for us, oh well, looking forward to June and July.

That's right... but only 2 wins from our last 17 starts has already started to have effect on that record....

great work jar-baby!

i knew of the 72 GF ... but all those other GFs ... wow!

@#$%&! richmond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can also somehow understand 1909 & 1910
1909 - sth finished top and we beat them so they had the right of re-match
1910 - we finish top, lose second semi so have the right to challenge the winner of the nominal final

but 1921, 3 games in october? did they delay the season cos of the commonwealth games?
