I've never seen Murphy stop and appeal to the umpire while play is going on around him. I've seen Fev do it plenty of times.

Feel free to love the Fev, but love him for what he is, the good and bad. And don't for one second try and put Murph and Simmo in the same group as him behaviour wise, because it just isn't true.

watch the Essendon*, hawks and freo game. You c murph doing it, wen he gets held or pushed.

It wasn't a separate flight.

He got into an argument with one of the umpires outside the ground after the game and the umpire just kept giving 50M penalties to Fev.

Eventually it got him all the way back to Melbourne.

GOLD!

He doesn't stand there waving at the umpire while the ball rolls along behind him. Fev has. On the whole, Murphy's behaviour on and off the field is examplary for one so young. Fev's is the opposite, with years of history to back that up.

If you're correct, and I were cynical, I could also ask then why are our young players starting to do that on field? Maybe because one of the senior players does it?

Hey Fev do many players in da AFL try and kick 80 metre goals when there is a player free inside 50?

How many times has Murph been dragged for poor effort/behaviour on the field? How many times has Fev been dragged just this year?

Sorry mate, I don't hate Fev, but they just aren't in the same boat at all. Not even close.

I want Fev to win a premiership with Carlton, but in the end whether or not that happens really comes down to the man himself. His behaviour hasn't been acceptable, only his most one-eyed fan could deny that.

fisher did it the qtr before from bout 60m out wen there was 3 freo players in da square, b.johnson did. Im not defending, its just this is all crap. To suspend fev because he gave away 2 50's is a joke.

The point is not many others apart from Fev can.

So he was selfish and went for a big goal to lift his team. Is he the first guy in the game to ignore free team mates and go for goal? How about all of the times he passed off to team mates when he was better off shooting at goal or could have kicked the goal himself. Why isn't a press conference held for that?

Yep this is a great idea, now we can play Teague at full forward. The guy never argues with the umpire and is a great leader on the track and around the club. Tops!!!

mate its not because he gave away two 50meter penalties. its due to his constant bitching and moaning and setting a shit example.

Anyone on this site who thinks the sole reason, for Fev's suspension is the 100m penalty he gave away on Saturday night, and not giving it off to Murph when he was 80m out on Saturday night is being stupid. It has been a series of things that has led to his suspension and hopefully when he comes back he will have pulled his socks up.

IMO, to compare Ackland and Saddington to Fev is unfair. Fev is Being dropped because of behaviour, and if Ackland and Saddo were to be dropped it would be because of form.

In full flight, Fev is a joy to watch.

But we need to rebuild this club from the ground up.

The undeniable fact is that we have without a doubt the worst onfield leadership in the AFL.

Onfield leadership is worth more than an individual player's skills.

Personally, I'd swap Fevola for Brett Kirk, despite the fact that talent-wise, Kirk isn't fit to lace up Fev's boots.

Remember St Kilda, in their bad old days? Remember how good Plugger and Winmar were? Remember how shitful the TEAM was?

As much as I love watching Fev play, I hate watching the Carlton Football Club put out on the park the worst TEAM I've ever seen in the navy blue.

I barrack for the blues, not for Fev.

Having said that, I'm finding it increasingly hard to care at the moment. It's really a shit time to be a blue.

interesting ploy. Drop him and his trade value goes south. Suspend him and he remains an erratic talent?

What is his trade value right now? Surely by stating he may never play for CFC again the club has devalued him considerably.

Think Acker last year - won't matter a twang.

Brissy got not much for acker- around pick thirty. If Carlton deem that fev is not wanted at PP and then Fev nominates "this club or the PSD" then CFC will lose out.

At 26 he is unlikely to be a part of the next Carlton flag sad to say. A move could be in the interests of both parties. If he's sick of playing for a side thats getting smashed and he wants some September action he'll probably go. The upside is extra high draft picks and the removal of a negative influenece. This has been a long time coming for Fevola. I like him but have had a gut full of his antics

Fev is in no position to nominate anything. For a start he has a year on his contract to go, so can't go into the PSD. We can't lose if he continues to spit the dummy, because he would be in breach of contract. He might suggest he wanted to go to the Tiggies as an example, but they would have to offer us serious draft picks/players to consider it.

The Carlton Football Club will NOT lose anything here.
Market dictates two top round1 picks for Tarrant/Ottens/Hay therefore Fevola is worth every bit of that.
If he decides to walk, he cannot go into PSD draft therefore TRADE ... I'm happy to let this one pan out with the "Pratt" pack.

A bulldog-supporter on SEN this morning said that he'd offer us Ryan Griffen, Farren Ray and the Whitten Oval for Fev.

They can keep the Whitten Oval, but otherwise I'd be pretty happy with that.
