Pagan cant afford to lose Fevola , although it may seem that he already has.

The only reason for him not to play would be recovery from his injury. He still takes the best defender each week and its not like his behaviour is something new to anyone at Carlton. People talking about trading him could be right if we got good value... would anyone really want to see Fev do a Barry Hall or Tony Lockett with a better team around him and a clean slate. I couldn't stand him kicking 8 goals like the dons game for the doggies or tigers. Some people mention trading for Judd.... I dont think he'd be interested in the blues somehow (just a hunch). I still think Fev should play unless injured or he does a Chris Tarrant.

Fev + First Pick for Judd.
Pretty Please.

Sounds bad but would be good. Give the Weagles a few more flags in return for consistency of effort, leadership and instant better midfield for five or six years.
They way we are going, Fev won't be in our next premiership team anyway so trade him away while he is still worth something.

why do you guys want Fev out of this club so much? Its flower disgraceful. No other supporters treat and bag there club and players like carlton supporters do.

Maybe true, but no other player in the competition consistently shows such obnoxious attitudes. Richo does it, but he also cops it. Both have been like that for years.

We don't ALL want Fev out of the club. We want Fev to return to his godly best. He's got to be having a crap time outside of footy at the moment, and probably not a great time inside footy either. That is probably a large portion of why he's out of form.

Maybe even injured?

so then you guys should be supportin him, and stickin wit him, instead of jumpin on his back and bagging the shit out of him and calling for his head. Because i can gurantee if this was murph or setanta or simmo, none of you would say jack shit.

Apart from the fact you seem to be challenged in the vocabulary department and must surely be under the scrutiny of the moderators, you don't seem to realize that none of the other players you have mentioned have done or are likely to do what Fev does in terms of dummy spits.
I am usually a big fan but when he carries on like a child it is time for him to go. Ants or elsewhere, I don't really mind. Just out of the ones for a while at least.

Judging from the grammar and spelling on this thread, I'd say the IQ is already pretty low.
Logic is harder to view objectively on such a site so shouldn't necessarily be included because passions run high but please, if you are going to talk about IQ, here is probably not a good place. :)

Let's pretend that Fev didn't give away the two 50 metre penalties. What else did he do for the game? Well I can only think of two other incidents: the first was the attempted torp from 70m out when other players were in a better position and the other was a goal handed to him on the plate in junk time.

The fact is that Fev had a shockingly bad game. Look at the Champion Data stats and you will see that Fev only got a meagre total of 1 point for the game. He is in my Super Coach team and I am tempted to trade him. Does anyone else have him in their team and what do they think of his performance?

I have thought a lot about this issue today. Fev certainly deserves to be dropped on his performance. It is time that some players in our club take responsibility for their performance. However, I probably wouldn't drop Fev. What I would do is start Fev on the bench. That would give him the message that he is on notice. He needs to know that he is dispensable and then maybe he will work his butt off to play for the team. If not he is dropped and traded at the end of the year. There will be some clubs that will not want him, but there are others that would.

I have him but I dropped him for last round as he was averaging about 65. Lucky me. One point this week. :-D

I'm not for trading Fevola, but the Cats took the right action to suspend the equally mercurial but troubled Steve Johnson and are reaping the rewards after he knuckled down. It's a shame we didn't take similar action with Fev, Scotland, Fisher and Lance over their incidents in the post-season and set the example for the young players.

More self preservation from Pagan.

Yet another black mark against Kernahan's football department and Pagan when our so called leaders aren't disciplined for their stuff ups. It's still hard to believe our newly appointed captain was out at 5 in the morning with a first year player and setting the example. :?

We shouldn't judge Collingwood's mishandling of Didak when we're no better and not even capable of winning a game.

I meant in a footballing sense, most of the people here don't have a clue.

Fevola should consider appearing more clean cut for the umpires - so they don't head hunt him.

I would like to see him with:

1) a neatly parted hair style

2) bandages to cover his tattoos

3) socks pulled up

4) guernsey tucked in

5) wearing after shave and cleanly shaven.

at the beginning of the match he should go up to the umpire and say - "hello sir. nice day for a game of football." There is no way they will give sissy free kicks against him after that. So too with Barry Hall - both appear too tough - they need to appear nice and appealing for the soccer mums.

Why is it that whenever we have a shocker of a game there has to be a scapegoat? Last week it was aintland, this week Fev next week will be waite etc. I saw allot worse than Fev during that game. Scotland constantly pointing to other defenders when his man got the mark/goal, midfielders happy to stay off their man and give no pressure what so ever leaving the defenders in a helpless situation. Absolutely no leadership or communication on the ground. Lack of intensity from almost all players gibbs, murph, carlos, kouta, waite (second half) and carrots excluded.
I made the comment a couple weeks back that there really lacks a team spirit and passion to play for each other. Fev for all his faults does play with passion most of the time and even when he spits the dummy, it's because he is fustrated with the team performances and only exuberates what all of us feel, yet we criticize him to act the same way as all of us do in the stands.
Fev should not be traded as FF with the ability and accuracy as Fev has are a very rare comodity and we can draft 5 chris judds before we find one Fev. The next coach of Carlton should have the choice of whether he wants Fev or not. Just because we have a coach that cannot get the team to gel and play for each other is no excuse to get rid of a player that plays that way. If we were to sack all of our selfish players then we won't have much of a team left. People I know your angry, but please the team is falling apart at the seams, lets not start pulling the threads apart.

Fev is matchwinner and plays with passion and spirit and will have his highs and lows, its part of the package.
This is a player who could win you a grand final and some of us want to get rid of him....get a decent game plan and he will give you good results.
He is also the media face of the club and the kids luv him....watch supporter numbers drop if he walks out the door..

Well at 11.30 dropping Fev will be a moot point as he is being dropped after Sat's showing.

Good stand by the club.

No one is above the team.
