If Fev was to talk to someone at the club about a trade so that he could have a chance to play in a grand final, we would be silly to not take it with both hands.

I love the Fev but he won't be here when we are contenders again, so a trade that would benefit us in the long term would be the best wasy to go about things. We could snair a couple of really good midfielders to help Stevens, Gibbs, Murph, Simmo and Carrots.

Fevs would be happy, and in the long run we would be better off.

And i would still watch Fevs play for who ever else.

We may only get one crack at this, and we missed our chance with Lance.....................

Good to hear someone talking some sense.

Trade Fev , hey maybe we can get something good if we wrap up Walker , Murphy , Gibbs and Russell in a package , perhaps another two early draft picks that we can then trade on after two years as well. (big sarcastic post emoticon).

That's the problem, for our supporters, it's 1 rule for Fev and another for the others. That's half the problem with our team. Fev gets special treatment because he's a special talent.

The fact is that our teamwork is appalling, we are blaming each other and not taking responsibility for our own poor performance. Fev has to come out into the media and say that he's let the team down in order to win back my respect. As good as he is, he cannot continue to let down his teammates by the crap he dishes out every week.

im telling you right now, if the club are stupid enough to trade Fev, the club will still be in the shithole that we are in now, for the next 5 years. His carried this club for a while. Getting rid of him would be the biggest mistake this club could make. Geez Carlton Supporters really shit me sometimes.

You know James Hird has more talent in his little toe, instead of sulking Hird produces inspirational games that his teammates can't help but follow his lead.

Maybe Fev should have a few words with Barry Hall this week to re-evaluate his career goals.

Hird also has the ability to throw himself into the middle and have some decent effect on the game.

Make no mistake , Fevola is no Hird.

its like one step forward and two steps back with fevola

for all the good he does , he then undoes it all with efforts and displays of petulance like yesterday

we have shown over the past month despite being shellacked we havent lacked goal kickers

trading Fev for a quality midfielder and a defender wouldn't do us that much harm.

Having said that Fev is an extreme talent but we can not afford to carry his poor attitude and be satisfied with a shit performance and a sulk once a month, its like the guy has a menstrual cycle

We also can't rule out players being unhappy with him because of his attitude, and perhaps not getting the best out of themselves because of the negative effect........

what about when we beat the dogs and port, Fev sacrified his game, became the decoy. flower that was selfish, we should be all blamin him for not doing da team thing!!!

And another thing people got into fev for havin a shot on goal and not passin to murph, well, wat bout fisher in da first qtr. He had a shot bout 55m out wen there players leadin but he decided to have a shot when there was 3 freo players in da goalsquare alone.

short memory ??

him and his whinging to the umpires was a standout feature to start the season - it dissapeared for a few weeks and has worked its way back.

dont get me wrong if he can sort his mental issues out and work hard on the track every game he would be an out and out star

his inconsistency hurts us and i think we could cash in on a trade if we dont think he can turn it around

theres no questioning his ability or his talent

The only player I would trade Fev for is Chris Judd. Fevola whether he's a brat or not is a matchwinner. He's not a Tarrant, Rawlings or Hay. Could we have some sense please.

If he's got a legitimate injury DON'T BLOODY WELL PLAY HIM!

That will get everyone off his back,he's of no value to us in his present form. :x :x :x

what every1 has to understand is fev will always be fev. he can turn a match as just as good as hird can.

u can drop him, trade him, do whatever you want to him and he'll still be the same in his next afl match.

u just have to try and work around it, and keep him outta situations where this can happen. very hard to do when the rest of the team is giving no service watsoever.

Barry Hall wanted to kill him in Ireland. FACT.

OR...you accept that he is a gifted footballer and potential matchwinner, who is unreliable. And you ask yourself...can we engineer something that will make the Carlton Football Club a stronger club?

Are you going to tell me that if Judd decided he wanted to come back to Melbourne, that you wouldn't entertain trading Fevola and something for Judd???

We get rid of an unreliable match winner with no leadership skills, and get in a better match winner with exceptional leadership skills.

Yes please.

hey mate im just saying, thats just the way he is nothing u or me or any1 can do about it. i never brought judd into this

in a good or even decent team or even mediocre team he would be unstoppable. hell, he probly needs a new team and a fresh start

would hate to see such a talent who loves the club so much leave though

Let's pretend that Fev didn't give away the two 50 metre penalties. What else did he do for the game? Well I can only think of two other incidents: the first was the attempted torp from 70m out when other players were in a better position and the other was a goal handed to him on the plate in junk time.

The fact is that Fev had a shockingly bad game. Look at the Champion Data stats and you will see that Fev only got a meagre total of 1 point for the game. He is in my Super Coach team and I am tempted to trade him. Does anyone else have him in their team and what do they think of his performance?

I have thought a lot about this issue today. Fev certainly deserves to be dropped on his performance. It is time that some players in our club take responsibility for their performance. However, I probably wouldn't drop Fev. What I would do is start Fev on the bench. That would give him the message that he is on notice. He needs to know that he is dispensable and then maybe he will work his butt off to play for the team. If not he is dropped and traded at the end of the year. There will be some clubs that will not want him, but there are others that would.
