Blueman, I think your vision will be scarily close.

We will not progress until the team leadership issue is addressed. There are two players in particular who need to be moved on for the sake of team advancement. They are not obvious choices (e.g Lance, Kouta, Lappin). These individuals are being protected by the current coach, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were traded under a new regime.

Yes it does have a scary aspect to it, but i just look within and call the shots as I feel them, nothing more nothing less.

Ive always felt a strong sense of destiny about Carlton.

If we do win in the way that I've thought that we will, the whole rise and fall thing followed by a phoenix like rise from the ashes - will stamp our club with a special greatness that no one will be able to deny.

My feeling has always been that we beat St Kilda in a grand final - a St Kilda that everyone knows is having their last shot in the locker with their team of first round draft picks before having to endure a fresh rebuild.

I cant be sure about this, its just what Ive believed..

2009 is the year we make it to the finals. Hopefully with Den Den as coach.

Are you serious?? (About the "Hopefully with Den Den as coach")

I thought you couldn't stand the fella.

By the way, 2008 for me - IMO we're a lot closer that many people think. This is as long as there are no serious injuries, ala Stevens... we will have a decent, developed list next year, but still no depth whatsoever.

Sorry must have mis-interpeted "Den Den' as being Dennis Pagan. So for me it is 2009, I had hoped next year but we still need another year I think.

Den Den = ?

 :!:

Don't I feel like a dill - my bad.

I've put in bold the players that I don't think we can make a call on yet. Perhaps some will be delisted this year. We can't keep everyone, but I don't totally agree with your prediction.

Is Den Den Dennis Pagan or is Den Den someone else?
