I'll believe it when i see it. I wouldn't be risking Walks within 8 weeks if he has a crack.

Update: Channel 9 just reported that he was cleared by Doctors to probably play in two weeks. Walks was interviewed with his arm in a sling, but said he would be ok.

just reported on channel 9 that he has been cleared of any major damage and with the week's break (no pun intended) may be a chance to play without missing any weeks.

here's hoping.

Well, he might miss the Freo game according to the Club:

http://carltonfc.com.au/Season2007/News/NewsArticle/tabid/4311/Default.aspx?newsId=45244

Quote:
A visit to the specialist today confirmed the injury would require further rehabilitation, meaning Walker is expected to miss the match against Fremantle on June 30.

Thanks Ch 9 for your accurate reporting....

Hopefully the injury will be healed through the break. If not, we are in tiefe scheissen!

Statistically, he rates so well in the key numbers
5th in kicks, disposals, and (unfortunately) frees-against, and 6th in handballs (out of the 31 who have taken the field for us this year). To compare him over the years he has been with us will take a little longer.

Walks is one of those who don't appear too often in the bag-pages on this site, and I don't remember a bad game from him. We would do worse without him that with Lance, even if 8LW wasin form!

Tex will miss a month.

there is courage and then there is stupidity - to dislocate you shoulder and for the good of the team stay on in a tight contest is courage

To play on after dislocated your shoulder twice when you are getting flogged is stupidity

This with the Whitnal knee the injury Fev been carrying - Nick Stevens playing on after he injured his neck- some one down there needs to take a good look at themselves

There seems to be conflicting reports going on.

The Heraldscum says at this stage he'll just miss the Freo game with bruising:

The courage of this kid should be applauded. He is clearly one of the better leaders in the team and missed making the leadership group

More importantly, what sort of medical advice are our players getting where they dislocate a shoulder and are sent back on the field???
Sounds like my Yr 9 PE teacher "Run it out" was his answer to any ailment from a stitch to a compound fracture of the ankle
