Apparently cracked a shoulder blade - out for 5 to 6 weeks....anyone attend training?

Disappointing if true. He's had his best year so far. :(

Hope this is not true and if it is hope "SODOA" :P is OK.

But the main prize now is the National Draft 2007 - not a few crappy career saving, rubbish time victories from Round 13 to Round 22, so it could be a blessing (although understandably very disappointing from Andrew's point of view) in disguise.

I noticed he went down very heavily Friday night and was trying to get movement into his shoulder.
A very tough effort to play out the game if true.

I noticed the same thing - He kept trying to loosen it up, free it - thought something might have been amiss.

Hope he is OK - with him out of the midfield we are a fair chance not to win again.

I take absolutely no pleasure in Andrew's misfortune - as you can note I said I hope reports of his injury are not true.

However as most around here say I am half glass empty kind of guy - I am looking at the half glass full perspective and the long term benefit to the Carlton Football Club.

It also may give Andrew a chance to rest any "niggles" he has for a few weeks and come back in Round 18 bigger better than ever.

Here is a smile for you. :)

He received some treatment for a shoulder problem on the bench, I think in Q2.

That would totally suck!

Walker has been playing some great football.

Happened in Q2.
He looked to be in some discomfort and apparently he recieved an injection to fight the pain.

Not sure if this is true or not.

Any "crack" in the shoulder will be minium season you would think. You can't exactly hide on the AFL field with a broken bone in your shoulder.

Ian Perrie broke his shoulder blade a few weeks back against Melbourne and is expected back in 2-3 weeks.
