Trivial argument boys (Andain and buzzaaaaa).

The argument is limited to the names suggested....there's many more than those Andain...don't limit yourself and box yourself in...you've got a point there.

Who knows how many are out there sitting on the fence?

It's all just good fun, and I wanted to keep it fairly recent... just over the last three or so years.

Dal Santo's overrated. He's classy obviously but we have enough guys who only work hard one way and he disappears under pressure.

:thumbs up:

Yeah he may have not have a developed defensive side to his game (mainly due to his previous coach). Does that remind you of anyone?

A name starting with H and ending with oulihan prehaps?

I know who I'd prefer in my team if I had a choice. Dal Santo is extremely damaging with the ball and he does get tagged week in and week out. He'd instantly free with Marc Murphy and Kade Simpson and relieve some of the pressure on Nick Stevens. The oulihan does none of those things.

bondiblue must believe in Santa too. its good to see a child-like innocence in a 46 yo

Alright you've all decided on 1 nick or another. Question is what are you going to give? If you want gold, you have to offer gold. Unless you're the kangaroos and you offer gold for tin. You can't polish 2 turds and sell them for a Dal santo or Riewoldt. What are you going to give up. keep in mind that even for Judas Hammil we got Pick 4 and a player. The fact that we picked 2 duds is our fault.

Seriously, how many premium footballers change clubs at the height of their careers. Besides Stevens I can think of many recently.

- Josh Caar
- Scott Thompson
- Brad Ottens
- Nathan Thompson
- Tyson Stenglein
- Jason Akermanis
- Chris Tarrant
- Nathan G. Brown

You're kidding surely

Carr- not premium, hard working good player
Thompson - Was a young promising homesick kid
Ottens- Inconsistent overpaid
Thompson - Inconsistent medically unfit
Stenglein - Maybe
Akermanis - Way past his best
Tarrant - Was let go of, didnt ask to be traded- he's hardly premium
Brown- I'll give you that one but he left for money

One yes and one maybe.

I'm surprised you didnt say Headliand. I may have given you that one. Not now

what about plugger, greg williams, des headland, jeff white, tony modra, aaron hamill, nathan buckley????

this is by no means out of the question to pick up a saint, especially now

Report on one of the news services last night said that Reiwolt and Del Santo were both close to re-signing, and that negotiations were going smoothly.

As for Pavlich, if he goes anywhere (don't think he will), it will be back to SA, you would think.
