I haven't been able to see any footage of the game so can anyone please tell me what role Tex had on Saturday night - tagging or roaming free in the midfield?

Playing a positive role while being accountable for his opponent (S. Burgoyne for most of the night I think).

he took the next step in his development

still had the run with role, but created as well as nulified.

was a good game for the lad and to think he is only 20/21!

going to be a gun

I'm happy with Andrew Walker...very good player.
Cooney has been played out of position due to the Bulldogs lack of KPP players and forwards and hasnt spent as much time on the ball as a true midfielder and I dont think it has done his development much good.

Tex is coming along very nicely. Wait til he finally gets unleashed in the midfield. Very happy.

I'd have them the same , with Cooney as a more damaging kick. Didnt you guys see Cooney play against us? He was on fire.

Cooney was a Carlton supporter right??

I wonder if he broke down in tears and had to be consoled when the bulldogs took him before us, Like Brendan Goddard had to be the night the decision was made?....

Goddard is almost a distant memory now.....

No Adam did not break down in tears.
He(Adam) was aware he was going to the dogs,Adam, and Tex(correct nick for all CFC fans is "Billy"),were enjoying a swim and a beer together prior to the draft next day.
