- Chris Tarrant
- Nathan G. Brown

You're kidding surely

Carr- not premium, hard working good player
Thompson - Was a young promising homesick kid
Ottens- Inconsistent overpaid
Thompson - Inconsistent medically unfit
Stenglein - Maybe
Akermanis - Way past his best
Tarrant - Was let go of, didnt ask to be traded- he's hardly premium
Brown- I'll give you that one but he left for money

One yes and one maybe.

I'm surprised you didnt say Headliand. I may have given you that one. Not now

Our first round draft pick stays where it is, thank you very much.

Caar- Top midfielder in a premiership winning side
Thompson- Was a pretty highly rated kid who was performing before he left
Otten- Now or back then? Back then he was a superstar who had a tough trot with injuries and wanted a fresh start.
Thompson- Has averaged around 2+ goals a game for four years. Seems pretty consistant to me.
Stenglein- Was consisdered a pretty big star by Crow fans at the time
Akermanis- Maybe but he's still a huge star when he was recruited and had plenty of years left.
Tarrant- Is a star not matter what your opinions of him are.
Brown- He left for money, so what? I'd leave too if I was All Australian that year and I was offered a pay cut.

As I said premium footballers at the height of their careers. Half that lot the club was happy to see the back of. Thompson, Ottens, Aker and Tarrant. So they are irrelevant to this argument. We are left with 4. I'll even give you those 4, cos I'm a generous guy. 4 in 4 years considering there are 600+ players proves my point.

If you think S Thompson, T Stenglein and Josh carr are in the Riewoldt class, then that ends the discussion

Trivial argument boys (Andain and buzzaaaaa).

The argument is limited to the names suggested....there's many more than those Andain...don't limit yourself and box yourself in...you've got a point there.

Who knows how many are out there sitting on the fence?

We don't have to ask every player when all we have to do is approach every manager and let them know we're shopping/fishing! Then let them come to us.

I'd rather go fishing with Sir Richard than believe a punter (buzzzah) that there's no fish out there. No offence buzzzzah (just having a laugh  )

Good idead Mr Pratt. Lets leave the big boat behind t'day Mr Pratt, instead lets take the ship and our crew of 40 hands and 20 models... and a couple of chefs and waiters. I'm with you.

Lets enjoy the exploration and see what we catch; we've got everything going for us. Lets leave buzzzaah behind because he doesn't think we can snag anything with Mr Pratt's assetts.

We can trade our 3rd pick and Andrew Walker for David Mundy considering that you said Walks is a hack!

hmm walker gave away two free kicks and a sloppy clearance from deep in our defensive 50 he gave away three goals the following week.
since then he stopped turning over the ball...no doubt his turn over rate was getting too high, but as long as he doesnt turn the ball over no complaints from me... he is going beautifully atm. hope he keeps it up.

so you've changed your views on walker... just like you changed them on Smorgon? Or you still think Smorgon was the man for the job?

I don't know about you but I think scum are people who go around making jokes about cancer..

Dream on. boys. I, for one, don't reckon he's worth it against the fwd list we now have. What we need is another mid, not another tall forward.
I agree with Winfield Blue. Get Del Santo if we can.
I just hope Mr Pratt has his scouts out finding out Judds favourite main course. (We all know what he has for dessert  )

great to have him if he could fix his kicking for goal, we already have enough players who need to continue working on their kicking for goal.

I kind of agree, and until I checked some stats yesterday the name Brad Fisher would have been right in my thoughts. So far this year, Fish has kicked 19.7 ... that's a very tidy conversion rate I reckon!

Murph? 5.10!
