great to have him if he could fix his kicking for goal, we already have enough players who need to continue working on their kicking for goal.

Dal's the one I reckon. If Carlton had a fair dinkum crack he'd be a real chance I reckon.

Yep, he would take our mid field to another level i reckon - and this may shit people, but i would happily trade our first round pick for him as well.

only young, 23 or 24? and a proven midfielder

combine him with Stevens, Murphy, Gibbs, Walker, Russell, Carazzo, Bentick, Blackwell, Simpson and we start to have a seriously good looking midfield.

who do they put on their number 1 tagger on? Stevens? Del Santo? Murphy?

leave one of them out, to your own peril

very tasty situation

Dal Santo would be a dream come true and yeah I'd give up our first rounder for him too. He's just a quality player who uses the ball brilliantly.

Midfield: Walker, Murphy, Gibbs, Stevens, Dal Santo, Simpson, Carrazzo, Russell, Bentick, Blackwell

I'd love for us to have a crack at Dal Santo. But then again Richmond, Melbourne, Brisbane et al would also love to have him, and very likely will have a higher pick (Hell, the Saints might even use a pick to get him back). I'd say we'd have a better chance during the trading period, but if we let him go into the draft we'd lose any chance.

I wouldn't even bother with Riewoldt.

Because of St K's poor form, Dal Santo's work rate or lack there of has been highlighted.

Don't want Dal Santo.
A good judge told me :P , he's second and third efforts are non-existent, a foward of the ball runner and doesn't run to enough contests especially after giving the ball off the 1st time.
Watch him.

As for Riewoldt, yes, as long as he works on his kicking for goal under pressure with Kernahan. :P

Seriously, if anyone JUDD ... his the one. But I doubt it.

How about Cox?

He could make our midfielders look like Judd!

It will go something like this...

...Cox goes up for the centre ruck duel, and wins the tap.

Straight down the throat of:

Murphy or
Stevens or
Walker

Gibbs or
Carrazzo or
Simpson

Bentick or
Grigg or
Blackwell

Russell or
Anderson or
Benjamin

Kouta would come out of retirement for that, and he's look like Judd too!

Nothing wrong with our midfielders, it's the ruck division that needs that extra few cms.

Walker is our Judd
Murphy is our Kerr
Stevens is our Fletcher
Gibbs is our Cousins
Carrazzo is our Braun

Seriously, how many premium footballers change clubs at the height of their careers. Besides Stevens I can think of many recently.

Do you think it was Pratt's invite, or did pretty boy Reiwoldt have Dick for dinner?

Tick.

Did anyone else see Dick have dinner with Elvis the other night?

Fev would have plenty of space to work in thanks to Riewoldt's long leads. I seriously doubt it happens and he's a bit of a wanker anyway but he'd be the ideal complement for Fev IMO.

Dal Santo's overrated. He's classy obviously but we have enough guys who only work hard one way and he disappears under pressure.
