Does anybody see a resemblence between Brad Fisher & Kenny Hunter?
Fearless,great overhead,hard to match up on,average kick,i love him :)
As they were saying on 3AW last night, kicks no more than 3,but no less than 1 each week. Some of the contested marks he takes are instrumental to our fwd thrusts, and he takes the pressure off Fev,Lance etc. Also got a bit of the Richard Dennis's about him.If only he can stay injury free ,we've got a 40+ a year goalkicker :-D

All he needs to do is grow a mo and remind the goal umpire to signal for a goal each time.

TRUE TRUE TRUE.

Always thought he was a talent. Now I know he is.

Good call Mark.

Fisher is hugely important to our team structure and will be a major weapon when we play finals I reckon ...just like kh :-D

Fisher is comfortably our most consistent overall mark in the team. He has often taken grabs he has no right to hold on to. While Fev, one out on a lead, would eclipse Fisher's capabilities, Fisher's ability to create contested marking opportunities is freakish.

He is the reason i don't complain about missing draft picks in 01. An absolute steal at 70.

You can still complain.
I think, just to stay even with the competion, you need to pick up two good footballers each and every year. Thats one of the reasons we are in the poo. An inability to recruit with any consistantcy.

What a load of rot! Sorry, but l saw every one of Kenny Hunters games, and prior to injuring his hip he was so far and away a superior player to Brad Fisher it ain't funny. Brad Fisher ain't a pimple on his butt-cheek!!! Hunter - courage personified, a SENSATIONAL mark for his height(or lack-of should l say), and a pretty good kick for goal.

There is only ONE Kenny Hunter.

But I love Fish, too. Great mark and an improving kick for goal.

Yep.....that's called a beard...... :-D

BTW....Brad Fisher is already a great young player; but has a long way to go before he can be compared to Ken Hunter; an absolute Legend and Champion who was named in Carlton's Team of The Century.

oooh protect the past, protect the past....

reminds me of Kenny too. Brad has great hands and is fearless. Doesn't mean he is Kenny, or even as good as, just that he reminds one...and that's a great thing...

Resembles is a good description; and Brad is still only a kid.

Kenny Hunter arrived here from Claremont as an established player aged 24.
