I wonder what the make up of the side would be now if Cloke hadn't got injured :?:

God when did we all get so flower precious.

Setanta is who he is, like him or not, who gives a toss. I'm loving every minute of him, every inch. But hey, lets look to show how much we know by finding fault - yet again.

Here comes the cavalry! It's ok to rip on Ackland but god forbid you mention anything about the Irish boys shortcomings.

That's the point, it's not a shortcoming. That's why you are getting ripped apart and even my mate Agro and I see eye to eye on this one.

Meet this kid and his brothers and then you'll understand a little more. Determined, passionate, loyal, following instructions... that's how I describe Setanta. Thug, Idiot, Losing control... NOT even close.

Ripped apart? What are you on about? I just said he isn't going as great as some would make out here. Trust me I've got a better view from my seat than you do from yours.

Read a little more carefully... I said you're getting ripped apart not Setanta.

And thanks for the advice. I feel better now that I can trust you. btw, does your seat include meeting the O'hAilpins? Nah didn't think so.

Whatever :? I've burst enough brain cells trying to make sense out of you, I'll know for next time.

So Setanta is following the coaches instructions ? ......i actually believe that.Poor kid, what ridiculous misguidance.Just confirms how much Denis has lost it.Dredging up 20 year old tactics.Talk about back to the future.........anyhow,if you guys actually believe that Denis will lead us out of the mire, then you believe in fairies in the bottom of the garden.

actually what he does is stand his ground/hold his position, nothing wrong with that.

If you caught the telecast tonight you would have seen after the game that Setanta made a special effort to go have a pat on the back with Ackland...it was all smiles and good stuff :)

Santa is becoming a very important player for us...we need 2 of him...wait a minute...we do have 2 of him! :-D

Shit...the other 15 clubs must be a worried about that. :-D

Yeah I agree, I've not been as convinced as others over recent weeks that he's been that good. However, in my eyes at least, this was easily his best game for us. Probably the intensity of playing one of his old clubs helped that, but he was aggressive, ran hard and busted a gut. If he does that every week he'll win a lot of fans.

I agree CB. I love the fact that he is a big immovable object and he's not afraid to get stuck in. Between him and Carlos, and a few kids like Simmo willing to get stuck in, we have shed that sense of vulnerability to rough-house tactics to an extent.

BB whats your @#$%&! problem! 8) ... jk

Nah man, I'm a lover not a fighter. I certainly have some pretty strong opinions on my team and the players, but that only stems from my passion for the club. It's all in good fun mate. Although knowing the O'hAilpin family, some of the comments on this thread did get me a little hot and bothered. Another solid game from Setanta on the weekend. Didn't see any made crazy stuff from him like some of the fools here have been suggesting

Ilove it when they get the crazy stuff out of their system at training, then put it together in the game.

Bring back the biff at training...the players love it...(so I heard)...shows a bit of character, a bit of passion and it's a good diversion from hard intensive training drills.

Great result, thanks Cane, thanks Setanta.

Setanta you are a beauty in the making. People in Sydney always talk about him...not ask, but talk. He's making a big impression in everyday Australia...and he's ours.

We have 2 of him!
