That photo will cause a relapse of Lloyd's Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Back to the Sports Psych for you Monga

Radar said on SEN that when Ratts saw the dust-up, he went to break it up. But Pagan called him back and said "Let them go for a minute, son!". Maybe it was said in jest, but you could imagine that happening

Setanta got pissed?
I thought he didn't drink?

Intensity!! It's back!!

This will filter through the playing group, and the boys will step up another level.

There's something special brewing at MC Labour Park...and I'm loving it.

I also believe that the football public wouldn't see this as bad headline for the club, but rather that the Blues are getting stronger, more angressive and serious about their football futures.

Good to see competition for spots.

Is there ANYONE on this site who thinks that the scuffle was a negative as suggested by the Age?

I would think that most would love the intensity shown, and the message it sends to other teams.

I'd like to give Ackland some credit also for firing up - it takes two to tangle and it looks like he played his part well

So Setanta cops an accidental smash to the moosh from Ackland, sooks up and fires up at Ackland........So how is Ackland the bad guy ? Reckon Setanta is getting way over the top with his aggression.Effen hell mate, walk the walk, and then talk the talk.Dont know who is in Setanta's ear,but he aint doing him no favours.Reckon Setanta needs to totally focus on the pill. This idiotic remonstrating with his opponent before the bell wrings is distracting Setanta from the job at hand, and that is getting his hand on the oill. You guys might be impressed with his antics ,but i aint.Carrying on like a deranged madman,or some crazy circus freak show act is embarrasing.Setanta needs to get his head around the game of footy rather sideshow shit that only impresses goons in the first three rows.

i like O'hAlpins aggression, over stuff that really matter at training or during a match. imo fighting between team mates shows unrest within the club, it may spill onto the field. while a little bit of agression is good if it gets out of hand it may be damaging to the club.

i have seen many training track punch ups and really, they mean absolutely nothing more than some passion and competetiveness.
setantas aggression needs to be channled correctly.
fev does this very well, but some aggression and passion on the training track is a good thing...as long as its channeled and transformed on match day.
if setanta has a poor game i think its fair to raise question marks about his character.

Santa get a little over excited....sigh

he wears his heart on his sleeve...I love it actually!

Good to see that Ackland gets worked up too...

There was no damage done so I think people who are getting angry about this altercation should relax a little.

The bit of news in the altercation for me was that Ackland is a strong boy to be able to hold the big Irishman down.

I hope the fellas take this kinda spirit onto the field Saat night!

Go Blues!

Mickstar Ackland is the bad guy purely and simply because he's no good.

If he'd have beaten up Andrew Eccles we'd all be rooting for Cain.

Setanta started the blue, and he came off second best. He copped his right wack for mine..If you cant finish something, dont start anything........Im tellin' ya,Setanta is riding for a fall . He is way over the top.Ackland has risen a couple of notches in my book. And he played a fair game against the Dogs.
