That's a shame :P .

Hope BG gets it this week, I reckon it'll release some pressure and we'll see him play with even more confidence.

It's funny but i think (and please correct me if i am wrong) that of all last years draftee's that have won a RS nomination, they have all been dropped afterwards.

Hawkins
Selwood

It seems like the 2005 draftees are the ones who are favourite.

For me, nobody can stop Pendlebury, possibly only Ryder who i think has been fantastic this year.

Bryce has been the only consistant performer. Selwood probably second.

Robbo on SEN just responded to the question of whether BG will be this weeks NRS to which he answered 'No, McGlynn this week easily' well Robbo you might want to check the criteria 'cause 21YOs aren't eligible - you goose!

:P

Robbo get's a bad wrap with Carlton supporters but i like him. He has been pumping up the Blues quite a few times this year.

Is a big fan of Kade Simpson!

I'm sure that Demitrispew can change the criteria so that McGlynn can win this week

I don't mind him either, but he opens himself with some pretty stupid comments sometimes.

Apparently it has been suggested that he is eligible. The award is flawed anyway. That Murph is ineligible this year, when Pendlebury is eligible, and that Andrew Raines came runner up last year (3rd year) suggests that the award is a joke. BG will be a star, we all know that, so who really cares if he gets a nomination, this week, next week or wahtever!!!

Well Ben was born on 6th August 1985, which if my maths is correct means he turns 22 this year and is therefore ineligible

Not doubting that Nikki, just repeating what I heard on SEN.

All I care about is that football is a team sport and we, the Carlton faithful recognise that GIBBS is going to be an absolute champion for the CFC and what he did yesterday for the team makes him a standout for us.

I don't need hacks from a bygone era to give me the validation of his worth.

Well, he got his nomination. The competition is now closed.

Now he can use the second part of the year to secure the prize. Those other flash in the pans (or is it flashes in the pan :? :) ) have faded as the cream rises 8)
