Three wins this year - all at MCG.

Would we have beaten the Dogs if the game was at The Dome?

How much are we rueing the decision by Ian Collins et al to go to The Dome?

How many wins has this cost us over the last few years?

Couldn't agree more. We play our best football at the G. We were screwed big time with the Dome deal. This issue is a very important one for Swann to get working on. Don't know how they can get us out of the Dome deal but they must. Maybe they can go down the "Collo had conflicting interests when this deal was done" road. Greg get to work on it quick smart. I'd rather freeze my ass off and watch us at the "G" than sit in comfort at the dome and have our chances of winning greatly reduced.

At the end of the day if its to be our home ground it should at least give us some advantage and from what I have seen only the "G" gives us that.

3 wins from 4 games at the G this year.

When was the last time we won 4 points at the dome?

MCG suits us better, much more open forward line.

Our record at the dome is terrible.

Amazing difference in winning percentage between the 2 venues.

Seems to sum it up nicely.

Probably slim to no chance but would love it if the new powerbrokers at the club could do something about being full time at the G. Eight(?) years is a long time to wait.

Obviously that 62% would have been lower had we played some of the opposition we've had at the dome at the G but we are usually more competitive on the G. I reckon the fade outs may have something to do with the dome and it's surface.

Would love it to happen during "The Spew's" tenure as AFL CEO.

Any thing that gives this lying sack of shit heartburn is OK in my book.

Perhaps Mark H can share with us the length of the deal with the Dome in terms of years and if there are any options to get out of the conflicted deal.

Also, you don't pay $20 to park your car at the G!

We have, however, won 2 cups at the Dome.

That said, it is shit, and the sooner we can get away from there to the 'G, the better.

Not sure that I agree with this, would like to see who we have played at both venues - most teams have been a fair bit better the us over this period

Of the 13 1/2 wins at the MCG five were against Essendon*, four against the filth, three against bitchmond and yesterday against the dogs.

Hmm, so I'm the only one that reckons the surface, in looks at least, is miles ahead at the Dome compared to the scruffy looking MCG. It's almost as if they've swapped the turf from one stadium to the other. The Dome is looking great, the G looks sandy and pretty miserable.

I'm trying to work out how 13 wins, 21 losses = 62%.

I can see the maths that came to that figure, but why compare one to the other like that, instead of against the overall number of games played? According to those stats our overall winning ratio, compared to games payed is:

Dome (38 games) / winning ratio = 21%
MCG (35 games) / winning ratio = 37%

Still a clear win to the G, but at least we're comparing apples with apples now! :P
