Let's take a sexy, cutting-edge young coach like Clarkson - flavour of the month at the moment.

Hodge - 96%
Sewell - 93%
Ladson - 93%

Gotta admire you Mav - going all the way to Tassie, sitting through the whole game with your stop watch and putting together these TOG figures just for us. You must of did it this way because I didn't see any references to where you got these stats and I know you wouldn't do anything that could be equated with plagiarism.....

That's rich coming from a site that's got Synbad as it's chief bellweather.

All I can say re: the forum rivalries, is that I hope when the eventual downfall of that place happens due to 2 or 3 people's ego's getting in the way of the improvements of that place that should have happened years ago, is that the great posters that have kept the place afloat in spite of this, are welcomed here and assimiliate in here quickly, whilst those aforementioned cancers are told to piss off.

Well 'Deepthroat' if you discreetly PM the Mods with your concerns that might help. Forewarned is for armed. 8)

Whichever ones you want to ingratiate yourself with. But I would recommend TC because......lets face it, you could do with a few 'get out of gaol free' cards, for future misdemeanors.

I haven't read the 5 pages but......Mants played in a Premiership side and should be eternally grateful for that.......he was NOT a superstar.

This decision is a very important one and I hope they don't stuff it up. If Pagan is sacked, then we cannot afford to be changing coaches again in 2 years time. We would waste over $600,000 to payout Denis's contract. I don't want membership money being poured down the sewer.

Actually it may not be $600K "wasted". We're paying Pagan $600K regardless of whether he coaches us or not. If we sack him we'll be paying an extra $300K to $1 million depending on whom we appoint for next year.

Considering Dick Pratt's pumped over $3 million into the club since he took over I can live with "membership money being poured down the sewer" if he deems it appropriate to pay out Pagan at the end of the year.

As pointed out the reasons in this thread for sacking Pagan are bullshit. The decision should be based on one criterion only - is there anyone else who would do a better job next year than Pagan?

If we believe we've got someone else who can fulfil that then sharpen the axe.

GWS I like you and your input to the website but I must say this to you.....to rely on Dick Pratt to use his money and get us out of the shite is what is killing this club. Don't rely on Pratt. Lets as a club rely on ourselves and spend our own money.

We are flower if we just say....yeah it is only $600,000 Dick will pay for it. I have news for you ...... Dick is not like that!!!!

Unless there is a stand out to take over from Pagan then do it, otherwise don't waste money on nothing. Lets buy an asset of some kind....don't throw it away on a Ratten for two years (example only 8) ).

If Carlton are not comfortable they have a 5 year coach then let Dennis see out his contract.

I had a social greeting with some Carlton players in the past 24 hours and found out some things that would kill the BULL shite on this website....but I did receive some insight. Not sure if I will post it though as I haven't done so since The Blue View days.

In summary from what I was told, Pagan has NOT lost the players.....BUT a younger coach is preferred (only if Pagan was to go) to help better understand their needs. Therefore not a Sheedy or Malthouse.

Not once did these players say Pagan should go.

Before I log off......I was just thinking that my Wife and I are thrilled with the style of footy .....in general; that we're playing this year.....we haven't lost by that much.......but.....essentially we've really been trying to play positive footy regardless.

Carn the Mighty Blues !

the error rate possibly tops the afl, but the ball movement is great.
when they get the momentum going possibly one of the best teams to watch.

Love your avatar....but come on....if you cannot see improvement in our game plan from last year then do don't know much about attacking football. Do you want to go back to the flooding days?

This is the style of play we need to drum into the youngsters and the style of play that will win premierships when we have the mature cattle on hand.

We play dumb football, there are no excuses. Our youth have been and still are on a highway to no where under that clown who calls himself a coach.

Yes...I can see that will happen too...TC might have to install a new filter. People will still understand the intent of the poster, but will not have to bludgeoned around the head every time they log on. 8)

I don't mind the 'I told you so's', good on em if they picked it, but it is the multiitude of vultures that ride in on their backs that will be very difficult to put up with.
