Putting Saturdays result behind us, Brad Fisher makes his comeback from his reco this week when the Bullants play Williamstown.
Lets hope Fish has a successful return.

He's put on about 6kg from last year and lets face it, the faster we get someone into the team who can take a contested grab, the better.

Go Brad and good luck.

i forwad half consisting of fev, waitey, fisher, and betts in full flight sounds pretty promising. all with plenty of years left in them too.

hopefully these guys will be the cornerstones of our next premiership threat.
whenever that may be

He is young, perhaps we should throw him straight into the seniors.
Run him off the bench.
Good luck Fish.

Spot on.... the perfect forward line for a player like Fev. All quick leading players who can start deep but end up out of his way, and also double back quickly... and hold a grab!

I am happy to welcome Fish back. He is a natural forward. He has an uncanny knack of knowing where to position himself as if the ball goes looking for him. He also has a rare ability to fly from the side of a pack and take a mark. Waitey will be good, but he currently relies upon his exceptional mobility for his size to give him scoring opportunities (and this means he has great scope for improvement as a forward).

The other thing about Fish is that he has been ruthlessly devoted to an early return to football. That level of dedication has been sorely missed in the past 9 rounds.

On the other hand, I shed a small tear for Santy. Just as Barney's injury opens the door a bit for him, Fish's return slams it closed again. Maybe Hartlett has previously been placed on the long-term injury list (without fanfare as was the case with Fish), so that Santy can remain in contention.

Let's hope so, cos lately our midfielders have had an uncanny knack of not looking where they kick it.

Fish has leadership potential.

Is true to the Carlton jumper.

Always puts in 110% and I look forward to seeing him play lots of games for the club.
