The pessimist in me says "things can't possibly get any worse".

The optimist says "OH YES THEY CAN"...

When they ask if my glass is half full or half empty, I say give me a bigger glass. 8)

If the glass is half empty, it doesn't mean you're not optimistic - it means it's your round.

I am optimistic that the Blues will be a force to be reckoned with very soon.

I am optimistic that Marc Murphy will win a Brownlow Medal by 2010.

I am optimistic that Bryce Gibbs will win a Brownlow Medal by 2011.

I am optimistic that Andrew Walker will win a Brownlow Medal by 2012.

I am optimistic that Adam Bentick is going to the be our new Brett Ratten.

I am optimistic that Josh Kennedy will the number one full forward in the competition by 2009.

I am optimistic that O'halpin's will be the number one playing brothers in the history of the AFL.

I am optimistic that the Carlton Empire will strike back.

DUC spot on... except for Bentick. Don't think he'll get close to those heights.

Exactly... we ve had enough false dawns now to never be optimistic again.... Pagan has made me to lose my faith in Carlton... i just expect to lose every week now.
