IF he can turn that around I'll change my opinion on him as a footballer. I don't know him as a person, so I can't and won't comment on that.

I think we made a mistake taking him at pick 9 as a football team but that's just my opinion.

You admit you don't know him as a person, but yet you say "Explains a bit, if its true". Explains what? That's a swipe at a guy that's done nothing wrong. Watch him at training and you'll see how much he has been giving to the club and how much he wants to succeed.

Why is this thread still open if we all know that JR is still very much at home WITH CARLTON?

Why do we vent so much vitriol on the kid especially that it has been proven that he hasn't gone anywehere?

If some posters feel that his supposed defection vindicates why they dislike him so much as player, then you need to look at yourselves because the kid is not bad.

I'm sure he's a top kid and nothing against him personally, and this is not a personal "attack" as you implied.

Given his track record that was made very public last year and his inability to get into games this year, I simply stated that it explains it IF TRUE!!

I sit here week after week reading the vile spew posters put on this site about our captain, ex captain, 200 gamers and kids. I never ever sledge a player personally. Never make fat jokes or complain about what player X earns compared to his output. I take offence that I did and if I was to appologize for anything it would be that people have misread a post.

My comments are about his football ability, and if your view is obscured because you and others sponsor the kid via this site, then that's something I can't help.

Fair enough Duke, you think the kid is a shit footballer. We think he's a very good footballer. Enough said. Let's pick this up in a years time.
