A similar article was in the MX tonight. Unfortunately I caught a late train so didn't get to read the article but saw the head line and the boys line up in a photo. You would think an article will be in tomorrows Herald Sun

It's on the Carlton website too. I saw the article and it captioned that Edwards was standing behin Red but I'm sure it was Harts standing there instead.

I have it on very good authority that we are 143 memberships away from beating the record!

Yeah they made mention of that in the paper this morning!

I haven't renewed my Social Club membership yet.

I thought we did well the 'fightback'year as well. There is the difference with CFC supporters and Tiggers and Saints. They get on board when winning but disappear from sight when losing.

What an amazing effort by all members, supporting the team through thick and thin.

When we become a top 4 side we will undoubtedly have 40,000+ members, great times ahead.

Update: No1.Blue went down to the club an hour ago to purchase a membership, apparently we are about 50-odd memberships from the record.

Seriously considering going down to the club tomorrow and purchasing a second membership so I can take my little brother to a few matches this year.

C'mon everybody, dig deep - it'll be worth another good news story in the media and a thumbs up from Pratt...!

I've put the call out to the NSW supporters network to put their money where their hearts are, sign up, and be part of a new Club record.

Hopefully more NSW members might mean a better presence up here in the future too... :-D

Why doesn't the Club institute a prize lottery for members who sign up in June, to help us get not just over the old record, but set a big new record by the end of the month?

An ARISTON/INDESIT oven, cooktop or coffee machine?

OPTUS broadband for a year?

$1000 DAN MURPHYS voucher?

A JNC LCD TV?

Come on! Surely something can be done to smash the record!

I would think you would want to reward/encourage members who sign up in October, November and December not in June.

I understand what you're getting at, but the incentive is to get people who may think they've missed the membership bus for the year to sign up, support their club, and help smash the record.
