Heath Scotland racks em up at will , possibly more than Judd and Kerr last year. Does that mean we have the best player in the competition? I hardly think so.

If Scotland racked up the numbers he does playing in the center square all game then yes he would be the best player in the competition.

Hille and Fraser play the same position, and very similar roles in their team. Thus their stats are much more comperable than Scotlands to Judd and Kerrs.

Hille is not a superstar and I don't think I'd rate him as even a top-liner. Most Essendon* supporters I've spoken to agree. A solid player and important to their team only because he's the best they've got, not because he's a dominant ruckman.

Hille's not a topliner - he's a goer is all.

What I see with Hille (I don't have stats to prove it), but he works hard.

He often runs into to space to take that uncontested mark (something I haven't seen at Cartlon since Matty Allan). He disposal is excellent and in front of goal you can put your house down on it that he will kick it straight through the middle.

He splits the packs by going hard into a contest and allows his crumbers to off him. He is also a great mark.

Not a champion but definitely will be considered for an All Australian gig.

He is better than Sandilands and thats who many rate as a top liner. Sandilands doesn't work harder than Hille.

Hille's tap work is average at best which is what will stop him from being a top line ruckman like Cox, Lade and Everitt. You can't possibly compare Hille's worth in the centre square to those players and he's workmanlike at best.

Hille is a poor man's McKernan.

Essendon* traded for Allan just three year season ago despite having Laycock, Cartledge and Hille coming through and they re-drafted Alessio ahead of Fisher.

As for Alwyn, superstar and champion of the world (who was drafted in 06), anyone who wants to know everything about Alwyn can go back and look at his goal of the year nomination against Collingwood.

Going on the footage, he and Scott Burns ran down the ball over roughly the same distance. Alwyn only just beat him out.

Alwyn will sputter his way to round 22 with his low endurance base, then lose what speed he has as he puts on the neccessary kilos to stay at this level.

He's slower than his brother now, his kicking is inferior (but it could well get better), his general play is inferior. He was a massive waste at pick 36, especially considering Nathan Krakouer was taken at 39.

Davey will not last 4 years in the AFL.
