Dont go Walkz

PS how do you do those quote thingys

Huh?Speaking of hysteria.
Andy Walkz volunteered after the Adelaide game,,"I am getting closer to playing 100 games at the club, and what an honour it would be to have my name on the locker.

I don't understand why anyone would want to post a rumour like this without at least making a little investigation into the likelihood of its authenticity.

With various TC members doing various stuff around the Club, attending training etc, it is not very difficult to find out whether there could be any truth in such a rumour.

Specially when it is posted the day after he was reported to be training enthusiastically at the beginning of a new week.

Different system now.
Back then about 50 players on the list. 18yo kids in the U19s were happy get some boots and a sportsbag. Now an 18yo kid gets $50K plus about $3K per senior game. When you're paying out big bucks, you want to see something.

Oh dear[b] now im not one for insulting people but this attitude....

Heart beat returns to normal ...

But enough of the cryptics, eh, DOA :) Your words are scrutinised more than most. :P

He is one boy that would shatter a lot of us if he ever left of his own accord. He was the one shining light when the gloom was at its darkest. He was the boy we clung to. The boy who went beserk on debut. Who else remembers the pics in the Sundays of AW with Kouta after the draft? (And to think it would have been Tenace.)
I think a lot of us still ride every kick, mark, baulk and tackle, still desperate for him to suceed (which he is).
And what about the day he finally lands the speccie? He'll have the car. And TC will rejoice. Perhaps it will be symbolic? Andy finally pulls down
mark of the year (though he hasn't been trying for quite a while) and we'll be away. The kids will have their heads. Tag Thomas? Piss off!

Don't be too hard on Zoneman. He obviously trusted his sauce (or so it seems). And Rosella seems to have let him down. He'll probably be a lot more careful next time.

QFT, he'll be recognised as the heart and soul of the club when he reaches senior status. He was the only glimmer of hope when even the most positive supporter couldn't deny that we had the best part of a decade of up hill battles. He's now got a few mates, but for me, drafting AW was the beginning of the resurection, and to see him holding up a premiership cup for the blues will officially put an end to the darkest chapter in our history.

If you look at my avatar you may be able to tell if the rumour is true or not.
If I knew how to put a photo on the thread I would have done it that way.
I think that's him thrid from the left.
Or right.

I love Walker and I love youuuuuuuu DOA for the inside snippetts

how good is that statement - i want my name on the locker - BRILLIANT !!

i have the picture of his attempted specky on debut where he is perched on embleys shoulders and kerr is looking up at him in awe

that picture is framed on my wall in my office - awesome shot - even better that its against the eagles as im in WA and it shits all the wanker weagles when they walk in

Andrew will be a legend of this club.

So will JR

Explains a bit if it's true.

We should be looking to trade for a out of contract homesick Vic or a 3rd rounder in October. If he can offer the Crows or Power something, we need to extract a ruckman or roughie for our future. There's a task for the recruiters. It was a major stuff up recruiting him, but I suppose you can't make every post a winner :( .

Apology accepted.....any time you care to make one. And anyone else who wanted JR hung drawn and quartered because they instantly thought the rumour was true and posted with anger and angst toward him. Feel free to put your hand up and publicly say......Sorry. Just a thought.

Well considering he did exactly the same thing at the end of last season , you can't blame people for believing what they heard.

FWIW I never said a thing.
