Pagan heard to say in press conference on ABC that he looked at our inside 50's and found that we went to Fev 109 times and the next best Fisher with 14!!

And he mostly is selfish - tried an imposible twist bounce goal when he could have centered to waite and/or houla.

Yes, agree with scotland comment. still too much bombing

that is incredible!!

perfect stat to prove what everyone on here is complaining about and it shouldn't have taken pagan this long to realize this. even though fev is a champion player that is just unacceptable.

With 12 goals total for the season, I doubt you can draw a conclusive stat.

Our players need to take repsonsibility for this aswell. The number of times we kick the ball to Fev when he has 3 defenders on him is ridiculous and shows that we are playing dumb football.

Now Fev is a gun and there are times when he will still beat 2 or 3 defenders but common sense would suggest that the players should be hitting better and more open targets. The more unpredictable we can become about who we kick to inside our forward 50, the better we as a team will become and the opposition we have to think twice about double and triple teaming fev. This in turn will make our forward line and particularly Fev much more dangerous and damaging.

Examples

Tonsilitis = inflammation of the tonsils...Colitis = inflammation of the colon....arthritis = inflammation of arthritic joints

What is inflammation of the Fev?

Orchitis is swelling of the testicles associated with mumps in adult males. Might be a handy one for some.... :-D

Hehe. The difference is we actually NEED fev (as opposed to our tonsils!)

no we dont - especially if we get a really good deal for him

Who knows it might even increase the development/performance of our other forwards due to the increased supply and opportunity.

Being new to AFL I struggle to find why Carlton always seem to send long kicks to contests in the last quarter whilst other teams handball it up the field and maintain posession.........

Is the fitness not there to do this?

Sorry if the answer is obvious - I'm just struggling to see why our last quarter game plan is different even when we are in touch on the board. (ie: I understand long kicks if time is of the essence)

I think Brisbane was next highest going to Brown something like 80 times.
