That report was a disgrace. We were attacking forward and skinny was attempting to lock the ball in the forward line. He was clearly trying to corall ball and player. The report was wrong, and everyone could see it. It lwas immediately followed up by two free kicks at each opf the next contests, tiggy touchwood free kicks that appeared to be a response to the crowd. Then a play on (from in front of the mark) to amark and goal.
A report, three free kicks and resultant goal, all arising from a stuopid decision.
It was a crucial moment. We were gutted.
Don't tell me those peanuts don't influence outcomes. They make errors, and compound them to cover them up.
And they made more through the course of the game, all compounding the view that we didn't deserve free kicks and that our crowd was biased. What rot.
What benefit do we get now that his incorrect decision has been recognised by the AFL? How about 2 points at least.
flower.
At half time when the stats came up on the scoreboard and showed us with more free kicks then the Crows, I said to my sister 'watch how the umpires even up this stat'. They must go into their tiny weeny rooms and figure that they need to even up the frees so they just make up some ridiculous crap, which they did after half time.
