Yep Kennedy, hartlett and Anderson dominating the bench once again, Kennedy has to be the best on bench week in week out.

Kennedy actually got the most game time out of the three and did bugger all..... As for anderson, as I mentioned above was unaccountable for Porplyzia's first two goals and should have been dragged (but should have had more game time).... Wouldn't have minded to see Harts get a better run, especially up forward (but considering how well our forward line was functioning wasn't going to happen!)

Yes mate.

Would you prefer if Walker and Fevola spent more time on the bench?

Im quick to bag Ackland, so i have to admit i am pleased he has shown something over the last 2 weeks. We are at least appearing to have a "ruckman" at the moment.

Yeh, it was pretty negative watching Waite's performance

Good point, I hate watching these young guys develop. I dread thinking what we;ll be like in 2 years. Saw nothing from Waite today to suggest he'll be any good then

thought he started getting back NAB Cup form. good around the ground and was only beaten by a couple of seconds by the siren when he marked floating across HF.

Pro:
Gibbs outstanding
Houla fantastic on Mcleod
Waite was excellent
Murphy got better at the game went on
Kouta clearance work in the 3rd quarter

Cons:
Not enough ground time for Hartlett and Anderson
Lance Whitnall couldn't make contests and looks to have added extra weight
Still bombing into the forward line

I won't be happy until Fevola, Scotland, Murphy and Simpson spend the entire match on the bench while first gamers get a full game on ground.

It's a confirmed winning strategy!

I thought Simpson was fantastic today his running and work rate was great.
Gibbs was excellent and when ready to be released in the midfield he will be a star.
Ackland best CFC game, Waite best game for a while. Carrots, Scotto Murph and Hoops special mentions.
Other pros: game time for Ando and JK and the continued improvement in poise and decision making by Carlos. Early on at the Coventry End his opponent tried to "Stynes" him and ran across the mark but Setanta was to smart and didn't follow.

Cons: Easy target but the umpires /rules are a frustration to supporters and the players alike.

Pro's ...Simpson.....courage and hard work rewarded with a fine game.
Waite for his attack on the footy and solid marking
Gibbs...best game I have seen him play for us...good disposal.
Carazzo on Edwards
Scotland for some good work in heavy traffic.
Kouta for some good stuff at times.

Cons.....6 goals to randoms like Jericho and Porplyzia really lost us the game...poor defense and some poor matchups from the coach.
Hartlett on Welsh was dumb.....Hartlett is a forward IMHO and to put on him a smart operator like Welsh who can hurt you with his straight kicking wasnt smart..
I like AW but Goodwin just got too much of the footy and AW got frustrated and gave away some silly frees and let us down with some poor disposal.
Luke Blackwells kicking and lack of vision cost us...nice player is Luke but if you aint quick you have to get smarter..I hope he learned something today.

Pros Waite Gibbs 1 and 3rd quarters

Cons the second quarter was the worst for the year. Easily.

Not a bad effort but I am sick of losing.

Whitnall looked injured.

The crows are a boring team to watch

Kouta was great after half time but has lost so much pace and relys totally on strength and experience. I still think it was a bad move to play him this year. We missed Betts today.

What do you expect from a kid who was recruited as a CHF and has been thrown in as a relief ruckman? As usual, he tried his guts out and did a couple of good things.

Josh is a good work horse but rucking isnt his go...only as an emergency.
Being pick 4 has placed big expectations on him.......he isnt the next Stephen Kernahan so its time to lower those expectations and get realistic on what he is capable of producing...he will be a valuable senior player doing the unfashionable but he wont be kicking bags of goals every week or pulling down screamers.
Give him 2-3 years and he will be a reliable player in the Earl Spalding mode....

cons

mistakes, mistakes, mistakes

missing set shots from inside 50
ball watching and losing track of your opponent
kicking to a 2 on 1 in the oppositions favor (i have no issues with players kicking to a 50/50 contest)
kicking the ball directly to the opposition
kicking out on the full
2 men standing the mark while their opponet runs away from them
kicking out on the full
standing still waving for the ball to be kicked to you, rather than being on the move
